Unibet have launched a free-to-play game to celebrate the 2019 Premier League of Darts. It's free to play, although you do need to be registered with Unibet. Simply login each week and predict the exact scoreline for each of five matches. Get all five predictions correct and you'll win £10,000 - or a share of the pot if there are multiple winners.
Weekly Predictions
The promotion runs across the 17 weeks of the Premier League Of Darts. We anticipate therefore that it will end around the 23rd May 2019. This is when the final game of the series will take place at The O2. However, the number of matches per week will drop to four after 10 rounds so we're not sure if the prediction game will change at that point.
Darts Predictor from Unibet is going to be a pretty tough game to win. Gary Anderson has dropped out of the original 10 players and is replaced each week by new faces to the league. These may well be unknown quantities and therefore will make predictions a bit more difficult. Will the likes of John Henderson, Nathan Aspinall and Max Hopp provide upsets and ruin predictions?
Consolation Prizes
One thing that is missing from Unibet's Darts Predictor game is a consolation prize. As far as we can tell if no one gets the results correct then no prizes are awarded. Furthermore there are no prizes for players who play every week and therefore become the highest scorers over the season. Essentially Unibet can run this promo without actually paying out a prize - and that feels a bit wrong.
Darts Predictor isn't the only free game that's offered by Unibet. Their Champions League game is back in action. All you need to do is predict the score of all the selected UEFA Champion League matches. There's £50K if you manage the feat. However Unibet do offer a guaranteed £10K that's shared by the players with the closest answers if no one wins.
