Rainbow Riches Bingo Review

  • Type Of Game: 40 Ball Bingo
  • Cost: 5p - 10p
  • Open: 24/7
  • Jackpots: When Leprechaun passes fixed points
  • Extras: Must buy 5 tickets for Wishing Well Feature
  • Special Features: Wishing Well Feature & Rainbow Jackpots

Rainbow Riches Bingo is based on the popular Barcrest slot. It has a strong Irish theme and features a leprechaun, lucky clovers, rainbows and pots of gold. As a bingo game it's been adapted reasonably well. Each player gets a ticket of eight numbers that are divided into 2 clover clusters of 4. The aim of the game is to call a cluster (one line) and then a full house before your fellow roomies.

Rainbow Jackpots

However, Rainbow Riches Bingo offers a lot more than just a base game. During the number calls rainbow clovers will appear. These accumulate and at the end of the round move the leprechaun along the riches path. If he lands at specific points then the bronze, silver or gold jackpots are awarded. Note that these jackpots are shared. If Lucky O'Leary passes a jackpot point then 50% is shared and the remainder rolled over.

As well as the Rainbow Jackpots feature there's also a Wishing Well bonus. To get involved with this you must purchase at least 5 cards. You then get to select a Magic Number and if this number is drawn during your game then you win a gold coin. You need to collect 100 coins to get the feature to pay out. Your reward is a 5 bonus to use on Rainbow Riches Bingo and slots.

Mrs Brown On Helium

When the game launched we decided to give Rainbow Riches Bingo a try. Ticket prices are reasonably cheap (5p/10p) and the jackpots are decent (25 full house for a 5p game when we dropped in). The games are fast as you'd anticipate with only 40 balls being called.

The one thing that we did find a tad annoying was the bingo caller. Virtue Fusion have employed a very hyperactive Leprechaun to shout out the numbers. Imagine Mrs Brown after she's downed a gallon of coffee and decided to suck down on a few helium balloons. Still, it all adds to the flavour of the room.

Our Verdict

At first glance Rainbow Riches Bingo is a tad busy and it's not helped by the caller (who is even more irritating when there are multiple winners). However once you strap in for the ride this is actually a fun bingo version. The quick games are enjoyable and the tension increases when the bronze, silver and gold pots come into view. The Wishing Well bonus feels a bit small compared to cost/time but it's still more than what you get from many other games.

Rainbow Riches Bingo can be found at most Virtue Fusion brands including Paddy Power, The Sun Bingo, Gala Bingo, Mecca Bingo and Boylesports Bingo. All sites share the same room so jackpots and prizes are shared.
