Over time she has had a close association with The Sun and it's now defunct sister title, News Of The World. Although Meg, who's real name was Margaret Anne Lake, sadly departed this realm in March 2023, her name lives in with this 50 ball bingo classic.

How To Play Mystic Meg Bingo
Mystic Meg Bingo is another exclusive 50 ball game at Sun Bingo. It joins Winning Headlines and Brits Bingo in the exclusives department. Mystic Meg Bingo is played on a purple curtain backdrop gamecard. There are no bingo numbers instead various horoscope, astronomical and Mystic Meg images are used. Disappointingly there's no sign of Meg doing any calls or announcing winners. We'd have loved to have seen an intro video from her too! To play Mystic Meg Bingo you first need to select your card price. It's a mult-stake game so you can only purchase one card per game. All players will play the same game but the value of the prizes increase based on ticket price. You can choose to pay 10p, 50p, £1 or £2. Each bingo card has 10 numbers and the aim of the game is to coverall all the numbers first in order to win the full house.
Progressive Jackpot
To complement the base game, Mystic Meg Bingo also has two progressive jackpots. The Mini Meg progressive jackpot is won if house is called in 19 calls or less whilst the Mystic Meg Jackpot must be called in 16 calls. Note that this is a community jackpot and 100% of the pot is shared by the rommies playing the game when the jackpot is won. At time of writing the big jackpot was around £3800 whilst the smaller one was just under £400 (for a £1 ticket). The number of players in the room was just ten which is a little disappointing although it was early lunchtime. Howver obviously if the jackpot falls then those roomies would get a decent share of the pot. As this is a 50 ball game play is very quick. There is a chat area running in the Mystic Meg Bingo room but with very limited activity.
Our Verdict
Mystic Meg Bingo looks good and the one card per game - Tombola style - is a good addition to any lobby. Everyone over a certain age is aware of Mystic Meg but we do wonder whether younger players are fully aware of her as a TV personality as opposed to The Sun's astrologer? When we first reviewed the game we said that it was the first celebrity room at any bingo brand and wondered whether we'll see a Russell Grant Bingo game at another brand in the near future! Little did we know Russell would then pop up - albeit briefly at Bingo All Stars. However, the frustration with Mystic Meg Bingo is that it lacks Mystic Meg. In many ways you could just simply call this 50 Ball Horoscope Bingo! We want to hear Meg doing bingo calls or annoucing the winner. Perhaps she could be looking into a crystal ball and sending out winning vibes to players. Even a daily horoscope would have been nice. In other words it feels like a missed opportunity to make the game more exciting. Worth a look but we want to see more too-oooooh!
