Dragonfish Bingo Sites To Close In December

It's safe to say that 2019 has been the year of bingo site closures. A huge swathe of Cozy Games powered sites are no longer with us and make up the bulk of 2019 closures. However doing their best to beat them are Dragonfish. They have closed a number of sites this year, including our own Loquax Bingo and Prize Bingo, and there are still more to follow. This includes Bright Bingo which moved to the network just 18 months ago.
The sites that we know are closing before the end of December are Bright Bingo, Welcome Bingo, Quid Bingo, Peeps Bingo, Iconic Bingo, Small Bingo, Lucy Bingo and Good Day Bingo. The biggest surprise in this mix is Bright. As mentioned above it moved to the Dragonfish Real Money Network just over 18 months ago. It originally launched as a sister site to BingoCams and seemed to be initially successful in that respect.
Bigger Prizes & More Offers
When we announced the platform change for Bright we did say we were unconvinced that the brand's fortunes would improve. It's loyal players were upset by the change and it's done nothing to stand out from the growing stable of wager free Dragonfish bingo sites. Bright did say their move was to offer "bigger prizes, many more offers, huge promotions and tons of events to take part in". Unfortunately those promises failed to materialise and the site will close on the 27th December.
The other closing brands are on the main Dragonfish Network. All but Iconic we believe are owned by the same company - Welcome Affiliates and Quid Affiliates. The latter now seems focused on slot sites that use the Jumpman platform. Welcome Slots, a sister brand to Welcome Bingo, has moved from Dragonfish whilst there are also casino versions of Lucy and Good Day. All the Dragonfish bingo brands mentioned will close on the 20th December.
100s Of Alternatives
These closures will most likely be put down to business reasons. In other words they sites involved are just not making enough money. This isn't a big surprise! There are still 100s of options for online bingo players yet not a lot of variance. The Dragonfish Network has also been poor in terms of promotions and improvements during 2019. Only a handful of sites on that platform really stand out.
Players with accounts with Bright, Quid, Welcome, Lucy, Peeps, Small, Iconic and Good Day should have been contacted by now. If you've still got money deposited at any of the above then you should act soon to get it withdrawn.
