Pragmatic Play Bingo Launches On Jumpman Sites
Article Updated On 4th March 2020
Jumpman Gaming have made massive changes to their bingo offering. They've now teamed up with Pragmatic Play to embed their bingo games in place of the old Jumpman rooms. What this means is that the Lucky Stars, Free Bingo, VIP, Pay Day Jackpot and Fair & Square rooms have all been closed. The Bingo Millions 90 ball games and instant win games are still available.
Currently players logging in to Jumpman bingo and slots site will be able to access The Jackpot Room. This is a 90 ball game which has decent sized jackpots although ticket prices are around 20p rather than the 1p to 5p of the old Lucky Stars room. This is a shared bingo room! Not only is it shared on all Jumpman brands but it's also shared across some Nektan slots and bingo sites too. Because more sites are hosting the same rooms this should lead to better bingo games and bigger prizes.
Surprisingly Jumpman have only launched with the one 90 ball room. However login to Flip Flop Bingo, which is on Nektan, for example and there are other rooms. These include 75 ball Stars and Stripes and 80 ball Sweet Bonanza. Unfortunately both lack players (at time of writing) but hopefully Jumpman opt to include them at some point. Additionally there's potential for a newbie room and jackpot games such as Every Ticket Wins. Ticket prices for some of the games are also at the 5p level so should appeal to bargain players.
As well as additional rooms mini games are also available on the Nektan platform. Again we expect these to materialise on Jumpman in the near future. Sadly there's no chat room or chat features. This does give the game a bit of an empty feel. Hopefully Pragmatic Play will consider adding chat to the product in the future. One feature that is available is pre-buy. This allows you to purchase tickets for any game up to a month in advance. That's better than what you find on Dragonfish.
The Right Move?
Over the last year or so we've been frustrated with the bingo offering on Jumpman sites. The jackpots have shrunk, player numbers have been poor and more often than not games don't play. To access the free room you needed to wager £5 on bingo, but couldn't do that because no games were playing. For slot sites it's not been such a big problem but for brands which pitch themselves first and foremost as 'bingo' the product hasn't been up to snuff.
Whether the new Pragmatic Play bingo product will improve Jumpman fortunes remains to be seen. We think it's a risk but a sensible one as the old rooms were dead. However, we think there needs to be more choice of games for players and we'd love to see the newbie room in action to spark interest. Our biggest concern is that the rooms still need players. Empty rooms don't attract paying players and if that happens we could end up in the same position we've been in for some time now.
