Select this option and if you win then the prize is doubled. The Number Shield means you win the full jackpot for yourself, regardless if other players match the same numbers.

These extra options increase the cost of your wager! Thankfully the other betting options don't add further costs. These include Jackpothunt which will renew your bets each draw until the current jackpot is won. We also like the option that you can place wagers based on the size of the jackpot. Look closer at Lottoland and you have extra chances to win with Lottery Syndicates. These syndicates allow you to bet on numerous lines for a given lottery or lotteries. The cheapest option here is the £2 Beginner's Luck syndicate. This gives you 60 combined lines in three different lotteries. These lines are shared with other players - usually up to a maximum of 100. These betting options don't seem to be as well advertised on Lottoland and we wonder whether they're being faded out?
Our Verdict
Looking through Lottoland and to play most games it's going to cost you £3 a ticket. In comparison you can wager on lottery results at bookmakers for lower stakes. The cheapest game we could find at Lottoland is the which you can play for just 35p a ticket. This game has a top prize of £80,000 and there's no rollover. If the top prize is not hit it means bigger payouts are then awarded to the players who hit the lower tiers.
If you're keen to bet on worldwide lotteries then Lottoland gives you a good platform. It has some advantages over online bookmakers including unique features and matching the prizes offered by official operators. Although there are many different lottos featured here there are omissions such as the French, German, Canadian and Australian games. One niggle is that for the most part you have to spend a minimum of £3 per ticket plus extra if you choose some of the features. Unfortunately this is the price to pay versus choosing fixed odds wagering.
