All Star Mr Motivator Chats At Gala Bingo
This Promotion Has Expired.
Just under a year ago a brand new bingo brand launched on the Dragonfish network. Bingo All Stars brought together a group of top celebs including Linda Lusardi, Rustie Lee, Jean Martyn, Mr Motivator, Christopher Biggins and Russell Grant. This site has promised that the all stars would be "actively chatting to players on site every week" and offering "the chance to win money can't buy prizes". This is all great stuff but it does make us wonder why Mr Motivator will be starring at Gala Bingo this week instead?
On 21st January Mr Motivator will be popping into the Gala Bingo Main Event Room between 7.15pm and 8.45pm. This is a Session Bingo event and players must purchase ticket bundles before eyes down. There are 4 different ticket bundles of 3, 6, 9 and 12 tickets and they cost from £6 up to £32. There will be 10 main bingo games plus 3 extra side bingo games (with half prizes) in each Club Bingo session, for a total of 13 games. All prizes will be paid out as cash and no wagering terms will apply to cash prize wins. Full details and terms can be found at Gala.
We're not quite sure what Mr Motivator will be doing during the session but expect he'll be answering questions, getting involved in chat and probably leading a few exercises too. However what we don't quite understand is why one of the Bingo All Stars is working with another bingo brand? Surely if you've put your name to a project then it would make sense to be running chat sessions on that project. What this actually tells us is that Mr Motivator and his co-stars on Bingo All Stars are not exclusive to that brand. In our view this dilutes the brand and the purpose of the All Stars site.
In fact looking at the All Stars site it doesn't seem to be offering much from it's sextet of celebs. During the festive season players did have the chance to win Rustie Lee's Christmas Cake but during January the exclusive promotions are just not there. An exclusive room - The All Star Lounge - is hosting a 90 ball game on Friday with a current jackpot of £18. Tickets cost just 5p but the game to date has attracted just 12 paying players. That may well increase as the game gets closer but there's no indication of a celeb joining the chat or any all star activity along the lines that Gala are plugging Mr Motivator.
Just Plain Old Bingo
In our view if you want to chat with Mr Motivator and enjoy bingo then that should really be happening on Bingo All Stars and not Gala Bingo. The problem for Bingo All Stars is that if their celebs are off working with other brands but not their own it brings into question why are they on the site? An occasional lobby message saying "Christopher Biggins reccomends a slot" isn't enough delivery on the promise of the brand. In fact if you took away the images and nonsensical recommendation messages then Bingo All Stars simply becomes 'Bingo'.
Without their input then the site is now just another addition to the growing list of Dragonfish brands that promise much but deliver little to the table. Of course the current climate hasn't helped Bingo All Stars. It can't offer 'meet and greet' prizes for example - but it could do more to engage players with the celebs - unless of course it lacks the marketing budget to implement this. Either that or the prohect just hasn't worked and been adopted by players. It'll be interesting to see how All Stars develops in the coming months and whether they'll be hosting their own Mr Motivator sessions.
