What Is The Prize Machine At Sky Vegas?
Article Updated On 11th February 2021
Long before William Hill launched The Bonus Drop and Betfair Casino added Prize Pinball, Sky Vegas were paving the way with free to play games. The Prize Machine launched several years ago initially as a short term promotion. However it is now a permanent feature of the site. Although Prize Machine can be found in the Vegas section of the site it is free to play for all Sky Bet, Sky Poker, Sky Bingo and Sky Casino players. But what is The Prize Machine?
The Prize Machine is a daily free to play game from Sky. Provided you have a valid active account at one of the Sky gambling brands you can login and play. To play you must opt-in and on desktop this is via a small yellow button at the foot of the browser. After clicking this opt-in you can then spin the Prize Machine. The machine itself is a three reel slot with one win line. To win you need to see the word WIN spelt out across the reels. Every other combination of symbols is a losing turn. If you do see the word WIN then you must click to accept the prize.
No Wagering Terms
After that you'll be told what the prize is and then you need to click again to claim whatever is awarded. When we played prior to writing this review we won 5 spins on either Sky Vegas Megaways or Deal Or No Deal Megaways. Despite various clicks we still had to then open up the game ourselves in order to play the spins. In short the process is really clunky and not particularly well thought out in terms of customer journey. Once we opened Sky Vegas Megaways the free spins could be played. This is all done automatically and left us 'up' to the tune of 3p. The good news is that these pennies come with no wagering terms!
Spins aren't the only prizes that you can win on The Prize Machine. Other prizes include Vegas Bonuses of 5p, 10p and 50p plus cash prizes of £1, £2, £5 and £100. The odds of winning aren't given but we don't expect that The Prize Machine dishes out too many of the £100 cash prizes. If you do intend playing daily then spin with the expectation of a few pennies at the most a day. Is it worth the effort of playing though after all if you won 3p a day for a year then that's just over £10? And that assumes that every day is a winning day too! We suggest that if you're a Sky player then give it a play but it's not a game we'd go out of our way to play.
Surge Days & Mega Prize Machine
To make The Prize Machine a little more exciting Sky Vegas do have two additional features. Surge days are when they decide to giveaway more prizes such as sports bets and more cash. We don't know how often these Surge Days occur but they maybe worth looking out for. The Mega Prize Machine is the boosted version which is exclusive to depositing players who have previously wagered a minimum of £10 at Sky Vegas the previous day. What makes the Mega Prize Machine better is that the value of the prizes increase when compared to the base game.
For example in The Mega Prize Machine you can win a maximum of £250 cash, 50 Free Spins, £10 Free Bets, £5 Bonuses and other prizes. Again all these are wager free so you'll never have to worry about wagering terms. Furthermore wins over £10 can be withdrawn too. If you're a regular player at Sky Vegas then this would be worthwhile playing just to hopefully get a better reward. Note that you can only play either game on a particular day - not both games. Finally we have to say that Sky Vegas don't want players from Loquax so we're going to say you're better off with free to play games on other sites.
