Aces & Faces 50 Hand Video Poker
Aces & Faces is one of 11 Video Poker games that you can enjoy at Jackpotjoy. Initially when you look at the game you might wonder why there's so much empty space - well that's because this game has a multi hand feature. With Aces & Faces you can play up to 50 hands at a time.
Aces & Faces plays exactly the same as most other Video Poker games. You are dealt 5 cards and have to decide whether to hold any. If you play multi hands you only see one hand - however if you choose to hold a card then that card is held across all hands. Only after you deal for round two will you see all your cards.
The multi hand option is pretty good and actually lifts Aces & Faces from a mundane game up to something with a bit more interest. You can play from as little as 1p too - which also means you can run 50 hands for just 50p. We found playing more than 10 hands was a bit too much and instead opted for a higher coin size. The highest pay out for Aces & Faces at Jackpotjoy is x800 your coin size.
One thing we do like about this game is that Jackpotjoy kindly offer some hints and tips about playing. They advise which losing hands to hold and these include the following:
- four cards to a royal flush
- four cards to a straight flush
- three cards to a royal flush
- four cards to a flush
- any pair under jacks
- four cards to an outside run
- two suited high cards
- three cards to a straight flush
- two unsuited high cards
- jacks or better
We think the above is pretty much standard strategy for most video poker games. However, remember it is a computer you're playing against and luck may well be a bigger asset than strategy. We did try using the above suggestions on a few games and whilst we notched up a few winning hands we rarely made much more than our stake back.
Aces & Faces is an enjoyable version of video poker. The multi hand aspect does give it much more appeal than just one hand games. If you would like to give it a try then head over to Jackpotjoy where you can play for free in demo mode.
