Pillars Of Fortune Instant Win Review
This week, Jackpotjoy announced the closure of their Blotto Lotto game. This was a lottery style game where you could bet on various outcomes plus have the chance to win a progressive jackpot. However, one year after launch the game is no more and Jackpotjoy have returned jackpot contributions to players - which we thought was a pretty cool gesture.
In their notification of the closure of Blotto Lotto, Jackpotjoy have suggested that players try another instant win game. It's called Pillars of Fortune so we decided to take a look.
Pillars Of Fortune is an Egyptian themed instant win game. When you load up the game at Jackpotjoy you're asked to choose your wager. This can be set from as little as 10p up to a maximum of £5. The object of the game is to clear the blocks from the 6 line, 4 column area in order to win the cash prizes indicated.
Orbs Make Prizes
At each turn an orb is illuminated on the left side of the screen. If the orb symbol and colour matches one of the blocks then that block can be removed. If no match is available then the orb drops into the sarcophagus and you lose a life. The orbs will keep generating until you lose three lives or all the blocks are cleared.
If you clear a line or column of blocks then you win the associated cash prize. It is possible to win on more than one line and column. However, if you clear all the blocks then you win the jackpot that's indicated at the top left of the game screen.
The game itself is good but can become a little too repetitive. There's no "reveal all" or "turbo mode" for those players who may want to speed things up a little. A few bonuses or multipliers in the mix would also spice things up as well. It's a shame that Blotto Lotto has closed, but Pillars of Fortune is an adequate replacement. We'd love to see Jackpotjoy add more games of this ilk to their roster.
Pillars of Fortune can be played at Gamesys brands including Heart Bingo, Virgin Games and Jackpotjoy. A free demo mode option is available.
