Competition Sites That Have Closed
With so many pay to enter prize draw and competitions sites emerging in this sector it's perhaps not a surprise that not all of them will be successful. Below are competitions sites that we have previously featured here on Loquax and now know have either completely closed their doors or during our checks no longer seem to be running competitions. Sites close for a multiple number of reasons but it is a hard sector to build an audience and maintain interest. It also needs to be financially viable and in some cases, e.g Mecca Raffles, they were selling less tickets than the value of the prize guaranteed to be be given away.
