Bingo Street started life as a bingo portal, offering bingo players the latest news and promotions. However, it was picked up by the owners of Wink, Posh etc. The portal's fortunes changed and in July 2011 the site became the latest online bingo site in the Daub stable. It's been a while since we paid them a visit, so we thought we would pop on over to the Street to see what's happening!

Bingo Bonus vs Deposit Bonus

Bingo Street used to offer a bonus based on a free game. When you registered previously and deposited at least 5, you were invited to the Spin the Signpost game with up to 1000 free in bonus money up for grabs. While spinning bonus offers are fun, a guaranteed amount PLUS a free spin is perhaps a little bit clearer for players. Especially when it comes down to making decisions to which site to join based on bonus money. Happily, Bingo Street have now brought themselves into line with other bingo sites by offering a first time deposit bonus of 200%! There is also a go on the Shake the Signpost game too where players are guaranteed a prize from 50p to 5!

Bingo Street seems to have all the right ingredients. There's free and 1p bingo games for the free bingo hunters, 5 line, 75 ball & 90 ball rooms, 1TG games, slots and of course daily, weekly, monthly and progressive jackpots too. The 'Street also offers extra prizes to their bingo players. For example if you bingo the most on the Letter L pattern during the week you can win 20 bingo funds! They're not big prizes, but it's a nice idea. Take a look at Road to Riches to see what's on offer.

Breast Cancer Care Pink Fridays

Bingo Street has all the usual offerings that can be found on their sister sites Wink Bingo, 888ladies, Tasty Bingo, RedBus Bingo, BigBrotherBingo and Posh Bingo; the Joy Gem VIP Club, Joy Jackpots and 7K Pink Fridays. The cards for this game are 1 cash and for every card you buy, Bingo Street will match it with a donation to the charity Breast Cancer Care. This is a standout feature for us as there are not many bingo sites who regularly run charitable games.

End Of The Road

Bingo Street was well positioned to make it's mark on the bingo world, but it seems to have missed the mark somewhat since our last review. Their Facebook and Twitter accounts haven't been updated for months, which, in our opinion is not a good sign for any bingo site looking to attract and attain players. Bingo Street has lost it's identity, there is nothing there that you wouldn't find at one of it's sister sites, for example Wink Bingo. In fact, players would be better off heading to Wink for a better deposit offer, exclusive promotions and a mobile version for iPhone and Android devices.
