Money Saver Bingo Review
Updated On Tuesday 29th April 2014
New Player Offer: 200% Bonus
15 Network/Jumpman Gaming wagering terms and conditions will apply
Money Saver Bingo, launched in April 2014, is the 16th member of the 15 Network and another site from RASR Entertainment. The latter have a number of sites across multiple brands including Rap Chic Bingo which is also on the 15 Network. So what makes Money Saver different to Rap Chic and other brands on this expanding group?
Save Money With Cashback?
The big unique selling point of Money Saver Bingo (MSB) is that it offers guaranteed cash back on all your losses. Players will receive 10% of their lost bingo cash back in their accounts at the start of every month. It should be noted though that the maximum cash back you can receive each month is £50. It should also be noted that MSB can withdraw or change this promotion at any time.
Cashback obviously isn't a unique feature for a bingo site, but when you look beyond the offer from MSB it's not as exciting as you may first think. All 15 Network sites operate a loyalty scheme and players can get between 1% and 7% cashback as standard depending on the VIP status. MSB are simply enhancing this part of the genetic set up. Admittedly 10% is better than 1% but we do have a few issues with the name of the site. People don't play bingo to save money and the only way they can save is by playing free or cheaper games. Cashback isn't saving! We also anticipate that a certain Mr Lewis will be making a statement saying his money saving site is not related to this bingo one!
200% Welcome Bonus & Spin Bonus
The problem for MSB is that once you remove the enhanced cashback offer there's actually nothing new for players. The site uses the well established Jumpman Software and this means a nice selection of 75 and 90 ball games plus a collection of popular slots and sides. New players still get a 200% welcome bonus along with the standard spin the wheel offer if they deposit more than £10. All the other usual 15 Network promotions are here including Lucky Lotto, Team Bingo, Weekend Wad and the Friday Jackpots.
For us Money Saver Bingo need a different angle. For example they could find exclusive voucher codes for their players to use at online retailers or give details about special offers and freebies. We'd love to see something like a "Piggy Bank Jackpot" where players can opt to add their cashback to a big prize pot for the chance to win a bigger cash prize in an exclusive MSB game. A few better priced games or BOGOFs also wouldn't go amiss but they may come if the site opens it's own non-networked rooms.
Overall MSB is like a lot of sites we see, perhaps even some of our own. They sound great on paper and have some nice ideas but are just missing that little bit extra to stand out from the crowd.
