Following hot on the footsteps of Dino Bingo comes T Rex Bingo. Surprisingly this isn't another brand from the Costa camp but it is in fact a new addition to the 888 group which is headed up by Wink and 888 Ladies. T Rex is joined by another three sites - Ballroom, Daisy and Hearts - as the battle for bingo real estate starts to warm up!

T Rex Bingo is a nice looking site that features a very cute looking purple dinosaur holding a bingo ball. It doesn't look like the kind of creature that caused panic and fear in Jurassic Park. In fact "Rex" as we're calling him looks more like a distant cousin to Barney! That's probably a good thing as people will probably be put off by more realistic dino images and activity.
300% Welcome Bonus
The problem with T Rex Bingo is that whilst it looks nice it's simply another Dragonfish Network room with little to offer in the way of new features. New players are offered a 300% welcome bonus on a deposit of £10. This bonus is probably the only thing that sets the brand apart from others already listed and reviewed here on Loquax. One thing to note about the bonus is that it's split £20 for bingo and £10 for games. Wagering terms will apply.
On the promotions page one would hope for something exciting to report but no there's not a lot going on other than the usual Sure Win, Grab A Grand, The Big One etc. Whilst Dino Bingo may also be a "network clone" it does actually offer players more in the shape of the £10,000 Friday game, reload bonuses and even a no deposit bonus.
We're just not sure about T Rex Bingo! It's not on the same level as Wink and we think 888 have got better brands to work with in the shape of Tasty and Posh. The dinosaur theme is great and ties in nicely with the release of Jurassic World, but for that to work (or be exploited) then T Rex needs to rustle up exclusives. We suspect that Dino will be more on the ball and in the battle of reptilian brands our money is on Dino. Well, other than our own Snappy Bingo of course!
