Tasty Bingo was launched in March 2010, an addition to the Daub bingo family which includes Wink Bingo, Posh Bingo and Redbus Bingo. It had all the right ingredients, free gifts, jackpots and lots of fun. So how has it fared against it's other more well known bingo sisters since it's launch? The food theme is still alive and kicking, but the bad news is, the free foody gift for new players has gone, along with the truffle loyalty scheme. So what can Tasty Bingo bring to the table in 2013?
What's For Starters?
There is a 200% deposit bonus for new players and £10 bonus funds thrown in for free too. So if you deposit £10, you will get £30 bonus, totally £40 to play with. Your balance will then be split into bonus and real cash. Just a note, the bonus cash is only playable on bingo, so if you want to play any instant games, you'll find your real cash will be used up. Tasty also offer a 50% redeposit bonus also look out for further deposit bonuses of up to 85%. These special bonus codes will show up in “My Account” when you log in.
Sign up is pretty quick, with players not having to enter cards details just to register. There are free games in the Naked Chef room to play without any deposit necessary. If you do wish to play with real money, you can then select your preferred method of payments which include, Maestro, Mastercard, Neteller, Paypal, Paysafecard, UKash, Visa, Visa Debit and Visa Electron.
Pass The Bread Basket
There is lots of free and cheap bingo all day at Tasty! You will find the free games in the Naked Chef room while there is also penny bingo in Pick n' Mix, but this is for funded players only. Then bingo cards range from 5p in the Tutti Frutti and Tangy Tomato rooms with up to £1 for the weekly £2 Mill Thrill- how is that a food related name by the way?
The Main Course
There are plenty of regular promotions and weekly games at various card prices including 50p per card for the £500 Golden Delicious game at 9pm every Wednesday with £400 share for 1TG winners. 20p per card for the £200 Friday Feast every Friday at 8.30pm. £1 for The £2 Mill Thrill every Saturday at 9pm, minimum prize is £500. One for the penny bingo fans at last with the Penny for a £30 Pizza every Thursday at 6pm. Cards for these games are available for pre- purchase. There's a 75 ball and 90 ball progressive too.
There is a new Sidebets feature where for 20p-£1 players are bet on the bingo game, for example, the colour or number of the next bingo balls. Is this going to replace the mini games bingo sites run alongside the bingo? It could be fun, but we'd like to ideally see the stakes lowered, say starting from a couple of pence, to suit all pockets.
What's For Pud?
On first impressions, Tasty Bingo look to have embraced social media with accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and You Tube. We think it's just worth liking them on Facebook and not bothering with the others as the Youtube account hasn't had any uploads for 2 years and it seems the Twitter and Google+ accounts are run off the Facebook page anyway. They post regularly on Facebook with bonus codes, bingo specials and reminders for big games.
The Bill Please!
Tasty Bingo has all you can expect from an 888/Daub bingo site, the good deposit and re-deposit bonus, free and cheap bingo, a couple of progressive jackpots, weekly specials. But apart from the food themed names and Takeaway Pizza prize game on a Thursday, the operators have abandoned all that made Tasty Bingo unique. At time of writing, Tasty is well below it's sister sites in our Best Bingo site list, which we think is indicative of the site being left unloved.
Maybe it's time for Gordon Ramsey to come in before it becomes a kitchen nightmare?
