Virgin Games Review

Casino wagering terms and conditions will apply
The new look Virgin Games has launched but there's disappointment for fans of the mobile app. Under the old system players could enjoy slots and table games via their phones, but with the site relaunch that option is currently unavailable. With other casino sites really plugging their mobile apps this could be a costly error.
The reason for the change is that Virgin Games has been acquired by Gamesys, the power behind Jackpotjoy. The old casino, poker, bingo and mobile systems have been shut down and replaced with a Gamesys style site that offers a mix of bingo, slots, table games and instants. Poker players are left with nothing more than video poker.
The new site looks a vast improvement on it's previous incarnation, but casino players may be disappointed by the limited number of slots. Most certainly mobile players will be looking elsewhere until a new app is produced.
Amongst the games you can enjoy are Wonderland, Pixies of the Forest, Secrets of the Phoenix, Siberian Storm, Monopoly Plus, Peggle, Wolf Run, Elvis, Zuma Slots and Star Trek. There are no marvel slots for example and only a limited number of progressives. Current players can still login to their accounts so you may want to check out what's on offer!
Alternative Casino Apps
However, Sky Vegas have a wide selection of slots and games akin to the old Virgin Games site and this may be a good alternative to consider. They have also just launched a mobile app - for android and iPhone/iPad - so you can play on the move. Similarly Paddy Power and Betfred.
Change is sometimes vital for a business. Hopefully Virgin Games will now flourish but it might have to work extra hard to attract back lost mobile and poker players.
