Wink Bingo have made a huge impact on the bingo scene since their launch early in 2008. Using the Globalcom bingo software they are also part of the Joy of Bingo network which includes Posh, Redbus and Tasty. Wink used to offer some of the best bingo offers and promotions around, so how have they fared since our last review!

New Winkies

When you register you'll get a 200% deposit bonus to start off with, but that's not all. All new depositing players are then invited to "Spin the Wheel" which gets them a further bonus of between 15 and 1000 guaranteed. So if you deposit 10 you'll get 20 bonus, plus at least 15 on top of that too. Don't worry if you can't see the wheel once you have put in cash, it can take a couple of hours to activate, which is a bit annoying when 4 hours later it's still not shown up! A quick chat to the live help soon rectified the situation and we got the guaranteed 15 off our spin. We do wonder how many players get a prize above 15?

Bargain Hunters

There is good news for free bingo fans! New players get to play for free for the first 7 days with no deposit required. This plays in the Newbies room which you can find under the Free and Fun tab! After the first week, the free and bargain bingo games are available to funded players only. For bargain hunters there are still plenty of regular cheap games and you'll also find progressives, team bingo and instant win/slots including Deal Or No Deal and Monopoly.

Wink Bingo also provide bonus codes every weekend. Keep an eye on their website or newsletter for details on how to get extra bingo money with a deposit bonus code. You'll also find promo codes and chances to win bonus points on their Facebook page. Wink are also on Twitter providing information on the latest games.

Winkers Win Prizes!

There is something for competition fans too as Wink run prize regular prize draws and seasonal promotions too, for example, the 10,000 Hot Cross Bundle game on Easter Sunday (March 2013). They run an annual New Years Eve competition to win a Mini car too. See their promotions page or check their newsletter for any new special games or competitions.

Wink have plenty of daily and weekly guaranteed bingo jackpots including the daily 150 Daily Delights at 8.45pm (50p cards) and 50 Party Plus at 8.30pm (2p cards). The weekly games kick off with Monday 500 at 9pm (5p cards). Booty Call Wednesday plays at 9.15pm with 350 High Street vouchers (1 cards) and The Risk-Free 1K plays Fridays at 9.45 with cards 10p each.

Whilst we think Wink used to be one of the most complete bingo rooms around and a serious competitor to the likes of Foxy and Costa, it seems to have gone downhill since it was acquired by 888. There are plenty of free and cheap games, regular guaranteed jackpot games and prize draws, yet according to our Top UK Bingo Sites they are now in the the lower end of the table based on player numbers.

In fact, all of the Joy Of Bingo network sites look to have gone down in the table, which is frustrating as they were pretty decent sites. Wink do continue to evolve and are using the popularity of the Fifty Shades Trilogy with their Naughty Numbers room and 50 Shades of Wink game. The jury is still out on whether this will be successful as players are divided on the whole issue of risque bingo. In our view it's not the right direction.
