Shamans Dream Slot Review
The Shamen were a fantastic band from the 80s who sang classic tunes such as Ebenezer Goode (Ezer Goode!) and Move Any Mountain. Unfortunately they have nothing to do with our featured slot - Shaman's Dream. Which is a pity as a psychedelic 80s retro slot called Shamen's Dream would be pretty cool.
Shaman's Dream from Eyecon games takes us back further than the 80s... to the time of the Wild West and Cowboys & Indians. There's even a white wolf that wouldn't look out of place in Game of Thrones in for good measure too. The reels are set on a mid-West plains sunset. On the reels you'll find wigwams, totem poles, dreamcatchers, an Indian Chief, eagles and a Squaw. The white wolf is the top paying symbol at x9500.
This is a 25 line, 5 reel slot with decent graphics. Sounds wise it's pretty basic - a few clicks for the reels, old school win line warbling and sound howling wolves when you a Wild (the wolf) drops on the reels. Wagering can be set from 1p to 50p per line - meaning you can play from as little as 1p a spin up to a maximum of £12.50. An Autoplay button gives you the option to watch the ducks spin for 10, 20, 50 or 100 spins. There are no additional autoplay options such as stopping based on losses or wins.
As with other Eyecon Games, Shaman's Dream boasts a couple of bonus features. The Wolf Wilds as mentioned above are joined by Dream Catcher free games. Get 3 or more Dream Catchers on the reels to activate 15 free spins. All prizes are tripled during the bonus round. Free games can also be retriggered up to a maximum of 15 times. The Dream Catcher symbol also acts as a Scatter and this can pay up to x450 for five of a kind. Two of these symbols will pay x2.
There are two versions of Shaman's Dream - one with a progressive jackpot and one without. The progressive, which is on Dragonfish Network and Jumpman sites, offers players the chance to win three different jackpots. The Mini, that must be won before £50, Maxi, that must be won before £500 and the Mega Jackpot that must fall before it hits £15,000.
Joining the above is the gamble feature. This, when available, offers the chance to win double or go away with nothing. Pick a card - high/low - to gamble your win. The gamble can run until you lose, get five wins on the trot or win over £32,000. Our advice is to ignore it especially on decent size wins.
Shaman's Dream is a typical Eyecon slot. It's relatively basic with just enough features to maintain interest. It does look a little bit dated these days - even more so when you compare it to slots such as Gun Slinger or BerryBurst. It has an RTP of 95.4% which makes it medium variance - note that the progressive jackpot version will have a lower variance.
You will find Shaman's Dream at many sites including those on Dragonfish, Virtue Fusion and Jumpman.
