Rumble In The Jungle Slot Review
Rumble In The Jungle sounds like it should be all about boxing. However if you're expecting to see George Foreman or Muhammad Ali in this particular slot then you're going to be disappointed. This Rumble features jungle animals, three bonus games and a progressive jackpot. Sounds good? If so let's get ready to rumble!!!
Rumble In The Jungle is a 5 reel, 20 payline slot from Mazooma. Unsurprisingly set in a tropical theme, complete with the sounds of the jungle, this slot does show it's age. The main symbols are playing cards (10, J, Q, K and A) although they have been cleverly designed in bamboo. They are joined by the high paying Rumble In The Jungle logo and Wild. These symbols pay x250 and x500 for five on a win line respectively.
Bonus Features
Alongside the pay line symbols are a host of scatters - including a banana, parrot and monkey. These symbols will activate the bonus rounds such as the Jungle Spins Bonus, Monkey Bonus and Pick a Parrot Bonus. In Jungle Spins you can get free spins and potentially pick up the Jungle Jackpot. Five scattered gold bananas will win you that jackpot.
Get the Monkey Bonus and a set of reels will be pulled (by a monkey) and you will win the accumulated multipliers. The reels keep spinning until 3 bad bananas have been accumulated. Again the Jungle Jackpot can be won with this bonus round. Pick A Parrot is exactly as you'd expect - you simply pick a parrot and your bonus is the multiplier hidden behind the bird.
The Verdict
This is a fun game with music that will make you feel like you're on a tropical beach. To be fair it does grate a little after a while but at least you can turn it off. One thing we do like about this slot is that on each win the win lines are shown - not just with a line but in a little pop up. This makes things a lot clearer.
The graphics are nice and gameplay is smooth. We unfortunately didn't make it to any of the bonus rounds during our trial, but a few nice "big wins" appeared mainly due to some well placed 'wild cards'. Rumble In The Jungle is worth a look, but it's possibly not a game we'll be racing back to play again and again. It's one to enjoy every now and then.
