Aliens Slot Review

Movies are popular themes for slot games and the latest to jump on the bandwagon is James Cameron's Aliens. The five reel, 15 line slot was created by Net Entertainment and it has a futuristic feel about it. Accompanied by haunting music it will most certainly appeal to fans of the film franchise.

The Aliens Slot game starts off with a short clip to give you a bit of background. The slot actually remains true to the original movie and has three defined sections: The Search, The Encounter and The Hive. You need to play the game for some time to make headway into this but the further you go then the bigger the wins. The Search involves scanning for infestations, The Encounter involves fighting your way to reach The Hive and The Hive is where you must kill The Queen.

Encounter Free Spins

As mentioned, fans of the franchise and slots may well enjoy all the creatures and atmosphere but what's it like as a game. Well it's OK! Graphically and visually it is stunning, perhaps one of the best slots around - but at the end of the day we like to win when we play or at least be entertained. Endless spinning of Aliens without a win line in sight let alone getting through to other sections started to grate considerably.

The good news was that eventually we made it to The Encounter and this is where the game really took off. Basically you have free spins and must win in order to keep moving forward. The round is accompanied by graphics of attacking Aliens and it's pretty cool. The more free spin rounds you complete then the more chance you have of reaching Level 3. Unfortunately our marine was terminated at round 4. It may have taken a while to get to the second stage, but we have to say it was well worth it.

The Verdict

You can play Aliens slots from 1p a payline to a maximum of £10 per payline. There is no progressive and we're unsure if there is a mobile slot version available. Demo free play of the game is available at Bgo Vegas but you can also play the game at Mr Green and Bet Victor. Overall this is a quality game from Net Entertainment that is stunning visually at the beginning, in look and especially around the bonus stages. It's just a shame the reel spinning part isn't as good.
