If you like your slots loud and with a big dose of anarchy then Sky Vegas' The Buzz Slots will be perfect. Inspiration for the game definitely comes from the era of Punk, Mods and Ska. The slots design is very similar to a popular Sex Pistols album and there are some decent tunes to accompany your game play.
The Buzz Slots is a 5 reel 20 payline slot from Games Warehouse. It can be played from as little as 20p a spin. The maximum spin is £200 - setting your bet is via the "Total Bet" button but the options overlay the button so it's a bit unwieldy.
The game is features rich with wilds, free spins, random multiplier and reel jam which activates when you get a win line. When you get a win, the winning symbols lock and the reels respin. Any further symbols are also locked in order to hopefully get you a bigger return. The reel jam feature continues until there's no further increase in wins.
Free spins result in a 'free spin gig' - basically your reels keep spinning until the gig is cancelled. To be fair it's a bit confusing and we'd rather there were 5, 10 or 15 free spins so you had an idea of what was going on. However the punk and anarchy theme probably doesn't fit such a conformist view!
The best part of The Buzz Slots is the Reel Jam feature - but only for the Ska music that accompanies with it. The downside is you rarely get more than 1 extra respin so the music is limited. It's a nice antidote to the "Guitar Hero" style tune which plays throughout. The Buzz Slots is perfect for fans of the era, but something a little less busy and loud might be more out style.
