Fruit Spin Slot Review
Following the controversy surrounding slots that may appeal to children, such as Fluffy Favourites, it's perhaps no surprise that game themes have taken a more traditional or adult approach of late. Our game of the month follows the former path. Net Entertainment have brought together icons such as fruit and 'bars' to create the simple, but effective, Fruit Spin Slot!
Fruit Spins is a 5 reel, 40 payline slot from Net Entertainment. It was released back in 2017 but it's recently been added (Feb 2018) as a new addition to Bgo.com. The slot has many features including stacked symbols, lucky wheels and free spins. There's nothing fluffy for anyone to get their pants in a twist about either.
Lucky 7s
Wagering starts at 20p a spin. The bet can be increased via the coin value button (up to £1) and the level button (up to 10). The maximum wager is £200. This is calculated at 20 lines at £1 x level. Our advice, as with all slots, is either play in demo mode or wager low amounts until you're happy to raise the stakes. The icons in Fruit Spin are, as you'd expect, fruits. These include oranges, cherries, raspberries, limes and blackberries. These are joined on the reels with bars and lucky 7s. The images are top quality - a kind of old school fruity that's been upgraded for the 21st Century online slots connoisseur.
Lucky Wheel
The reels spin seamlessly and each turn is accompanied by a gentle electro soundtrack. We don't know about you, but in our view the soundtrack wouldn't be out of place being played through speakers at the Spa. The RTP of Fruit Spin is 96.84%, whilst the maximum win on a single spin is x600 for a full screen of black 7 symbols. Old fruities don't have exciting features, but Fruit Spin does! Get the 3x3 scatter symbols anywhere on the reels during play and you'll activate the Lucky Wheel feature. This feature can yield coin wins or offers free spins. A 3x3 wild symbol is activated during the free spins round!
Our Verdict
With providers able to offer games like Fruit Spin it's bizarre why so many headed down the fairy tale/appealing to kids route. This slot shows you can take simple images and create a decent game without making it too fluffy.
