Monopoly Paradise Mansion Slot Review

Monopoly Paradise Mansion is a 3 row, 5 reel and 20 payline slot. It's set on a large mansion background that has a pleasing purple and pink colour. Unlike other slots that utilise the board game this one doesn't immediately scream Monopoly. However it looks stylish and functions well on all devices - mobile, tablet and desktop.

How To Play Monopoly Paradise Mansion

Wagering on Monopoly Paradise Mansion starts at just 20p a spin. The line wager can be increased to a maximum of 2. This means the largest wager is £40. As is standard with Gamesys developed slots, this game has no Autoplay feature. You can opt to switch off the sound and there is a chat facility available should you wish to share your success - or lack of it - with other roomies.

On the reels are various symbols relating to the board game. These include a golden 'M' with top hat which are wilds, diamond, hotel & houses, Monopoly money, water tap and light bulb. The lower paying symbols are playing cards J, Q, K and A. The wilds are the top paying symbol that pay x10,000 for five of a kind on a win line. Bonus and scatter symbols make up the remainder of the icons on the reels.

Bonus Features

Monopoly Paradise Mansion has a number of bonus features. Get three or more dog scatter symbols anywhere on the reels to win a multiplier of x5 (3), x25 (4) or x100 (5). Rich Uncle Pennybags may appear on reels 1, 2 and 3. Get three of these symbols to activate the Propety Card Bonus. In each round you're offered three property cards - click on one to win a prize. This bonus ends when you choose a card without any prizes.

Community Chest bonus symbols will appear on reels 3, 4 and 5. Get three of these symbols to activate the Community Chest Bonus round. Pick cards to earn coin prizes. This round ends when you reveal the 'Advance To Go' card. Wins on both bonus rounds are multiplied by the number of win lines that initiated the bonus.

The Verdict

The cool thing about Monopoly themed slots is that the board game is an integral part of proceedings. Whilst Paradise Mansion does have the Monopoly name, it doesn't quite hit the mark with respect to integration. Both bonus rounds are essentially 'pick a card' and neither are particularly exciting. As a slot it's OK to play but when compared to other versions that are available it just lacks substance.

Monopoly Paradise Mansion has an RTP of 96.29%. We found that small to medium sized wins were reasonably frequent. The bonus rounds were rare and on one occasion three Rich Uncle Pennybags didn't activate the bonus - we're unsure as to why! Overall this is a good looking slot but it's one that lacks real substance in the Monopoly department. It wants to be Mayfair but ends up more Euston Road.
