Slingo Lucky Streak Review

Following hot on the footsteps of Classic Slingo and Ante Up is the Irish themed Lucky Streak. This offers a little twist on the original slots meets bingo game. In most versions of Slingo you have a fixed number of spins available to you in the base game. However in Slingo Lucky Streak you are rewarded with spins when matching numbers on your game card. Provided you don't lose your lives you can continue playing and seeing if your Lucky Streak really proves to be lucky for you.

Slingo Lucky Streak Review

Slingo Lucky Streak has an Irish theme. In many respects it's very Rainbow Riches in design with a rainbow in the background. A leprechaun with a pot of gold, and what looks like a bottle of beer, sits to the right of the 5x5 Slingo grid whilst to the left is the Lucky Streak prize table. Irish inspired music plays in the background whilst you play. At the top of the screen you will see two hearts - these are your lives. Lose them both and it's potentially game over!

How To Play Slingo Lucky Streak

The aim of Slingo Lucky Streak is to get lines - horizontal, vertical or diagonal - of five numbers. The more lines you complete the higher the prize you can win. You can win by getting just three lines. The lowest prize is x1 your initial wager but this increases to x200 if you complete a full house. Wagering on this version of Slingo starts at 20p. This can be increased up to a maximum of £25 (Gala Spins). The minimum and maximum wager may vary from site to site.

Once you start the game the spins are automatic so you don't need to keep hitting the spin button. Each spin generates five numbers below the 5x5 grid. If any numbers match then these are marked off. When you complete a row of five numbers then you move up the prize board. If on a spin no numbers match then you lose a life - this can be regained if the next turn matches a number. The process continues until you lose both lives. During game play you may pick up free spins, jokers (wilds) and devils. The latter prevent you from marking off a number.

The Verdict On Slingo Lucky Streak Review

Note that there isn't a minimum or maximum number of spins you can play with Lucky Streak. During our trial we had one game that ended after just 5 spins whilst another went on for 21! Like other versions of Slingo you may be invited to spin on after the base game concludes. You can then decide to pay the amount shown on screen for an additional spin or end the game. Our advice is always end the game. Note that you can play up to eight additional spins. You won't always be able to spin on - with the 5 spin game it just went straight to game over.

This is another good version of the popular Slingo game. We like the theme and game play is good. Mind they can keep the weird looking leprechaun. When playing Lucky Streak is does feel that you're getting some value for your Slingo buck. Well for the most part - not when your game ends after five spins. Most of the time you don't feel constrained by a limited number of turns which ultimately lead you to the 'wager on' section. Yes that is in Lucky Streak but you do feel there's a fighting chance to at least get one foot on the prize ladder.
