Jackpot King Prize Lines Review
Blueprint Gaming's Prize Lines series continues to expand with the release of the latest addition to the stable, Jackpot King. This version of the bingo versus slots game gives you the chance to win huge cash prizes if you're lucky enough to win the Jackpot King pot. Prize Lines games are very easy to play. Simply play your spins then collect a prize (if you've won one) or choose to spin again to try and win a bigger prize all the way up to Jackpot King.
Visit a number of top casino brands and you'll find Jackpot King slots. Each play on these games goes towards boosting the Jackpot King prize pool and reserve jackpot. During every spin, you have the chance to trigger the Jackpot King bonus which is achieved when a player sees 5 Jackpot King symbols on reels 1 to 5. Blueprint have decided that this would make an excellent theme for their latest Prize Lines launch and we have to agree. Whilst Fishin Frenzy and King Kong Cash have a top prize of £250,000, Jackpot King Prize Lines could make you a millionaire. The design of the game is very simple with the royal red and gold dominating the screen. The current progressives are shown to the left of the 5x5 grid!
How To Play Jackpot King Prize Lines
Prize Lines games are very easy to play. They are played on a 5x5 grid which initially has blank squares. Wagering starts from just 10p but you can adjust this up to £10 (or more depending on the site). At the start of the game you are awarded five spins and on each spin squares within the grid may randomly fill with an icon. In this particular game that icon is a crown. These squares are then locked in and don't change. The aim of the game is to create as many prize lines as possible - so you're looking to fill the grid with lots of crowns. To help you in your quest coin modifiers can be won during the game and these can award extra spins, extra crowns or even take you straight to the Wheel King feature.
Gamble On Feature
At the end of the five spins you are usually offered a choice. Take any prize you've won (or end the game if you've not won anything) or you can play an extra spin for an additional wager. This format is exactly the same as in Slingo. There are no limits to how many extra spins you can play but you'll be wagering on each one so just be aware of the cost. If you're lucky enough to create at least one Prize Line during your turn then you'll win a prize. On Jackpot King Prize Lines prizes start at x0.2 your wager and increases upwards to 10 lines and a x20 win. For a full house (12 lines) you will trigger the Wheel King Feature.
Frenzy Spins Bonus Round
The Wheel King bonus round is played on a large wheel. Spin this wheel to determine the multiplier prize that you will win. Prizes range from x25 up to x500 plus there are three jackpots that can be won: Royal Pot, Regal Pot and Jackpot King. The latter is the big one and could potentially make you a millionaire. To be fair the odds are pretty much stacked against you because you first need to complete the Prize Lines full house and then hit the Jackpot King part on the bonus wheel.
Jackpot King Prize Lines Strategy
There isn't much strategy involved when it comes to Jackpot King Prize Lines. Unlike Slingo you as the player are not involved in being able to select squares during spins. In Slingo you can choose strategic squares such as the centre with a joker or super joker. The only real strategy comes with the gamble on feature at the end of the first five spins. We're not convinced it's really that worth it and having tried it a few times just ended up getting no extra squares filled for the cost. Our advice is to be wary of the feature and make a considered choice. It can be easy to chase the crowns and bigger prizes but that's not always a good idea.
Giving players the chance to win the huge Jackpot King prize with Prize Lines is a smart move by Blueprint and will give their new mechanic a further boost. We do like the fact that, jackpot aside, the game play is a little different to Fishin' Frenzy. In the latter you need at least 5 lines to win a prize, but on Jackpot King it's just one line. This is because of the coin modifier feature being used instead of just extra fish being added during the base game. Although the Prize Lines mechanic is aimed at bingo players we think slot players will have a lot more interest in this latest version of the game.
