What Is The Dragonfish Bingo Platform?
In 2022 the Dragonfish Network was acquired by Broadway Gaming operating as Grand Battery Holdings Limited from the B2B division of 888 Holdings Plc. This purchase also included a number of brands owned by 888 such as Wink, 888 Ladies, Costa and Bingo Hollywood. The future of these brands and indeed the platform remains unknown so information below references the networks and sites as of June 2022. The Dragonfish Bingo platform gives players access to mainly 75 and 90 ball rooms but also included the 52 ball Bingo Roulette and playing card games such as Flash Fives (888 Ladies). Plus of course there's the usual mix of online slots. There are currently two main networks using the platform - The Dragonfish Network and The Real Bingo Network, which initially set out to offer players access to no wagering terms bingo.

Which Networks Use Dragonfish Bingo?
Within these two networks were clusters of smaller groups that were owned by the same company. These included 888 (Wink Bingo & Sister Sites), United (Moon Bingo & Sister Sites), Maxi (Chit Chat & Sister Sites), Silverspin and Tau Gaming. These smaller groups try and differentiate from each other with exclusive promotions and occasionally exclusive rooms. In more recent times the difference between brands and networks has blurred considerably and other than the welcome offer it's hard to differentiate between them all. As of April 2024 Tau had sold off their DF brands (presumably to Broadway Group) and we understand another network will soon follow suit. The main difference between the many Dragonfish Network bingo sites that exist is the welcome offer for new players. However once you're inside the lobby area there's very little to differentiate the brands. Moon Bingo, and it's sister sites, do have a few exclusives. In general though you'll find a 90 ball and 75 ball room plus a couple of other 'specials' such as Mystery Jackpots and The Yoyo. What Is Happening With Dragonfish Brands?
When Broadway Gaming took over the Dragonfish platform and many associated brands we expected to see some wholesale but exciting changes. In our view the platform had been underperforming and not up to the same standard as Virtue Fusion or Pragmatic Play. There have been changes but not necessarily good ones. Broadway Gaming have streamlined the network and removed several rooms and jackpots. Furthermore the network is now limiting the number of accounts a player can have. For example if you're a Wink Bingo player then you may find you're not able to sign up at Costa, Sing or City. Many of the smaller brands within Ignite's stable and across the network have now closed and brands such as Bucky, Blighty and Hunky have been snapped up by the platform owners. In our view a reduced network of quality brands could be the end game but if the quality keeps falling this won't be achievable.
