Wink Bingo Offers: 600% Bonus - Free Spins Tourney

Sometime ago we took a look at how bingo sites were using social media to communicate with their bingo players. It's been a while since we did a round up of their activity on the likes of Twitter and Facebook, so we thought we'd take a look and see who's top of the social climbers.
Wink Bingo have over 6000 followers and the regularly post about their bonus codes, latest games and newsletters. There's also the odd quiz to win joy points as well. Entries for these little prize draws tend to be low, so maybe not their FB Page is now a bad place to pick up a freebie!
Over at Foxy Bingo there are over 18,000 Facebook fans. Lots of people love that old Fox and he seems to be using this form of social media a little more during August. There's news about promotions plus chances to win prizes too. Recent £25 pizza voucher giveaways attracted between 280 and 470 entries!
Free bingo site Costa Bingo have heavily utilised Facebook to attract players and they currently have 16,000 or so fans. They like to use their wall to tell bingo players about bonus codes and also to giveaway Costa points. With just 120 people wanting to win 10 x 10,000 CPS (£10 each) it might be worth doing just to try and pick up some free bingo money?
Our poor old Loquax Bingo page is struggling on just over 100 followers (compared to over 5000 who follow Loquax on Facebook). We use our page to tell you about news from the bingo sites we feature here as well as our own bingo site. We'd love more followers though!
Thankfully we're not alone in the low Facebook fans stakes! Brasingo for example have 87 fans, but they're boldly ploughing on telling them about new promotions. You'll also get the latest odds for Premiership games - which fits in with Brasingo's dating/bingo/betting set up.
Back to the big guys now and Jackpotjoy. They have over 7000 fans and tend to just use the channel for latest news. They did used to run competitions to win JoyPoints but stopped to fall in line with Facebook's policies. Some other bingo sites obviously didn't get that memo!
There's currently 5000+ fans following Gala Bingo. What's quite interesting is that of the site mentioned so far, only Gala show wall posts made by other. These include comments about having a great time at the bingo clubs and site issues, which Gala have responded too.
Surprising, not all big brands have huge numbers of followers. Virgin Bingo for example have just 300 friends! They regularly hold caption competitions to win V*Points and obviously there's a good chance of winning as there's only ever a handful of entries. Tombola have just 178 fans on what we think is their official page!?
One site however seems to be doing very well! BingoCams have an impressive 44,860 friends... more than Costa, Foxy and Wink combined! We're not sure how they've managed it though, especially as they're pretty much doing what their competitors are doing via the channel!
Of course there are other bingo sites using Facebook - but pretty much in the same way as those described above. The number of followers doesn't always equate to the quality of interaction or communication though. Nor is it a reflection on the best bingo site. There's also a whole bunch of Facebook Bingo Apps which you might like to look at too.
If you are a bingo fan and you're also on Facebook (yes some people don't use it) then it's worth following some of the sites. You'll have access to exclusive prize draws, the chance to get bonus points and even pick up bonus codes. Plus there's the chance to interact with fellow roomies as well.
Next time we'll be looking to see if bingo sites are as active (and as popular) on Twitter.
