Pizazz Bingo & Dinky Bingo To Close Down

Just under two weeks ago we told you that the Tau Gaming owned brand Tickety Bingo was about to say tickety bye to the online gambling world by closing it's doors on the 2nd August 2023. Unfortunately it doesn't go alone into the ever increasing dustbin of unwanted bingo brands. Also joining Tickety are the Tau Gaming brands of Pizzaz Bingo and Dinky Bingo. All three brands will now close on the 2nd and all three are suggesting to players that their next destination should be Bonnie Bingo, another in the ever decreasing Tau Gaming portfolio. Sadly for these brands none of them will be missed as once again we have doing nothing for player brands on a doing nothing for players platform.
Dinky Is As Dinky Does
Dinky Bingo launched in March 2020 and was another Tau Gaming brand that launched on the main - as then - Dragonfish Network as opposed to the Real Money no wagering terms version. The site was bright and colourful and offered players a mix of bonus, free spins and free bingo tickets as a welcome bonus. One of the issues we highlighted in our review of Dinky was that this bonus actually came with a massive x99 wagering term on any wins from the free spins. Now this has in recent times been reduced to x35 as Broadway Gaming, the new Dragonfish owners, go about standardising things across their platform. However despite Dinky's claim that they be Dinky but their bingo experience was huge, the reality was that they were just dinky. In the 3+ years they've been online we've not seen one exclusive for their brand nor found anything newsworthy to report. Throw into the mix the various changes that Broadway are doing to Dragonfish (and so far nothing for the better) and it's perhaps understandable to see why this site is shutting up shop.
Get Your Last Piece Of Pizazz Bingo
Launched in December 2020, Pizazz Bingo is younger than it's Dinky sister site. In our review we felt that the site didn't have as much razzle dazzle as a brand called Pizazz should have but more importantly we couldn't ignore the fact that it looks more like Pizza Bingo. Like Dinky this site opted for the standard Dragonfish platform and pretty much had the same welcome offer including the exceptionally high x99 wagering term on any wins from free spins. Whilst it did offer the usual mix of rooms provided by Dragonfish, and subsequently Broadway, Pizazz offered players nothing new and hasn't even attempted to do so since it's inception. In our review we concluded that the site "will be centre stage for a few months until the next brand and then the next". And unfortunately this is the case with Tau Gaming's approach. They'll open a new site, market it to lapsed players from older sites with new welcome offers, rinse and repeat until it becomes an unviable set-up.
Time For Broadway Gaming To Sort Things Out
As painful as it was to see Entain (then GVC) close down multiple sites across the old Cozy Games platform before moving the likes of Foxy and Cheeky to their new home, it worked out pretty well. We thought that with Broadway Gaming buying the Dragonfish platform that they'd look to make similar moves. Clear out the deadwood, revitalise the platform and focus on a handful of quality brands. Over 12 months on and the old Dragonfish set-up is full of poor quality brands powered by a poor quality platform with poor quality games. It's not a good combination. Even the bigger names like Wink and Costa look shadows of their former selves with little sign of improvements. Cutting out jackpots, free games, bingo rooms and promotions whilst letting go the occasional brand seems like a really painful process to get to an inevitable destination. We're not surprised to see Dinky, Tickety or Pizazz close because they offer nothing to players that they can't already enjoy elsewhere. We fully expect to see more to follow, even more so if the old Dragonfish platform continues to reduce the bingo that it offers.
