Animingo is the latest new addition to the Pragmatic Play bingo product and it can be found on brands such as PlayOJO, Heart Bingo, Butlers Bingo, Bet365, Mirror Bingo and many others. This 50 ball game, the first on this platform, does away with the traditional number calls and replaces them with animals. Picture Bingo isn't a new concept, Tombola for example have offered various versions, whilst there's Emoji Bingo over at Mecca. Animingo though does have something different to offer thanks to a Pick A Pic bonus round at the end of some games.

How To Play The Animingo Bingo
Playing Animingo is no different to playing any other version of bingo. Simply login to your favourite Pragmatic Play powered bingo site and head to the Animingo room. Note that at time of writing it only opens for a few hours each evening. When you enter the Animingo room you're greeted with a whole bunch of bingo cards that all feature animals. Each card has 10 different animals in a 5x2 format. Ticket prices start from 5p and you can purchase multiple tickets. The maximum number you can purchase is dependent on the game. Once you've selected your tickets it's simply a case of eyes down to play for one line and a full house. However instead of number calls you instead get animals. Match the animals on your bingo card for the chance to win. As with all bingo rooms you can opt to mark off your card, change the dauber and adjust sounds as required.
Pick A Pic Bonus
All players that have purchased at least one ticket can qualify for a Pick A Pic Bonus that takes place at the end of the base game. Note that this bonus doesn't occur on every game. Looking at the schedule, games with a Pick A Pic Bonus take place on the hour and then every 9, 19, 29, 39 and 49 minutes past the hour. If you're in a Pick A Pic Bonus round then once the full house has played you'll be presented with five animal images. Select one to reveal if you've won a mystery prize. Not every selection will be a winner! We're not sure what the prizes are that you can win but we're guessing that it's more than likely to be free bingo tickets for future games. Another addition to Animingo is a Progressive Jackpot that can be won by calling house in 17 calls or less. The jackpot starts at £500 and at time of writing was just under £775.
Our Verdict
Animingo is a welcome addition to Pragmatic Play's platform and increases options for players who now have 30, 50, 75, 80 and 90 ball options to choose from. Picture Bingo isn't a new concept but we quite like that the developers opted to avoid calling the game Animal Bingo and instead merged the words. The animal images are well detailed although they do seem to be inspired by the animal emojis you use on your phone. The addition of the Pick A Pic Bonus round makes Animingo stand out from other 50 ball games but it's confusing as to why the round only occurs on selected games. Players surely will choose to save their pennies to purchase tickets for those games with bonus rounds as opposed to the ones without? It's not as if the games with the Pick A Pic Bonus are higher in price either. Finally it's nice to see that this game has been rolled out across all Pragmatic Play bingo sites and not been limited to just select brands. This should give it a good chance of attracting a dedicated audience.
