Bird Is The Word Bingo Ad

Added on Tuesday 30th October 2012

Have you not heard? You haven't! It was our understanding that everyone had heard! Heard what you may ask? If you're a fan of Family Guy then you'll know exactly what we're talking about. If not then you'll soon know that bird is the word! Peter Griffin of Family Guy's favourite track has been picked up by William Hill Bingo for their latest TV advert.

For whatever reason William Hill Bingo have decided to put a man sized blue and yellow feathered bird into their latest advert. They've not used a bird before - although the colours are very Twitter like! Why it wears glasses we don't know either! Anyway it pops up in front of ladies playing bingo on their mobiles or laptop to the tune of Surfin' Bird from The Trashmen.

Viewers are then told that they can get 25 free play (with a deposit) and that everyone loves a little flutter. Music and bird aside it's actually a typical bingo advert that shows ladies winning bingo games (yawn). However, it's saved by the fantastic choice of track - it helps if you're a fan of Family Guy mind.

In fact, for the choice of music alone this is our favourite ever bingo advert although this video is much funnier...

So what was the word....
