It's time to put the miaow back into your bingo - again! Kitty Bingo are back on our TV screens with a new advertising campaign. Out goes the "James Bond Villain" and his same old same old moggy and incomes a series of ads featuring #kittylove between players and their cats.
In the clip above, Katie and Raven star in a 30 second advert to highlight the Everyone's a Winner game that plays at Kitty Bingo every Wednesday. There are a number of different ads which all feature other "players" and their cats. We're not 100% that the people involved are real players or whether they are actresses.
Each advert has the same £30 free for new players message as well as the strapline "put the miaow back into your bingo". We quite like them for their simplicity and it's also nice to see adverts which feature specific games such as Everyone's A Winner Wednesday, Win an iPad Tuesday, and Bargain Games Monday.
We also like the fact that Kitty have moved away from the James Bond villain and instead have used real life cats. They look cuter and are definitely more appealing. We'd love to know if the ladies in the advert are real players though - it's be nice if they were.
We do have some issues though - some of the "chat" seems quite contrived, even forced at times. The advert above featuring Clare & Lea with Tiger and Boots being a case in point. The whole scene just looks very unnatural and uncomfortable. The messages about Kitty being a good site though are real and hopefully that is what people take away from this campaign.
