Deep Sea Bingo Review
Deep Sea Bingo
About this time last year we reviewed a new Virtue Fusion site, Sea Bingo. That brand sadly sunk to the depths of Davy Jones' Locker. Mandalay Media will therefore be hoping for better things for their latest oceanic inspired site. It's called Deep Sea Bingo and operates on the Dragonfish Network.
Knowledgeable bingo players will realise that Mandalay Media are the folks behind Costa, Sing, City and a plethora of other sites. Deep Sea has obviously joined them - but there's a twist. All the other brands have previously joined the Costa Network operating on Cassava. Deep Sea uses the same software but for reasons unknown Mandalay have decided to launch it on the Dragonfish Network.
What this means for players is that you get the Costa/City style welcome offers but on a BBQ/Loquax/Circus/Easter platform with the bog standard Dragonfish promotions. Having got so used to seeing new brands from Mandalay (or Intertain as they are sometimes known) with their own games and offers it's a little disappointing. We wonder whether it's a sign of things to come or just a toe in the water to see how things perform?
No Deposit Dragonfish Site
Either way for new players there's a £5 no deposit bonus - which for the Dragonfish Network is a rarity. No code is needed to get your free bonus but note that it does come with a x4 wagering concern. Should you decide to go on and deposit then there's a 500% welcome bonus. Again this is quite a big bonus for a Dragonfish Network brand. Note that the bonus is only for deposits of between £5 and £10. The wagering concern is again x4.
Promotions are network based so that means you'll have things like Sure Win, Grab A Grand, The Big Weekender, Zodiac Bingo and The Big £10,000. There are free games although these are only accessible for new players at the start of their time with Deep Sea - usually the first three days - and to depositors.
Dive In For The Free Bingo
Deep Sea Bingo has the look of a Costa Bingo sister site, but we are a tad disappointed that it's merely just another good looking network brand. That's not a bad thing as it's a good bingo experience and the no deposit bonus is nice. However we like the fact that City, Treasure and Wish stand out from the crowd because of their prize promos and offers. Will Deep Sea be able to do it's own thing? We're not so sure!
Our advice is dive in for the £5 free bonus and then see how things go. Hopefully there will be exclusives bubbling to the surface at Deep Sea - if not then it may well follow it's name sake and end up being lost at sea.
