When Game Village first launched it was a standalone gaming site, featuring bingo, based upon the development of a strong community (a village in fact). We thought it had the potential to be the next Jackpotjoy with it's mix of unique games, prizes and points. However in 2015 the brand decided to move to new waters and established itself on the Cozy Games platform as part of The Lucky Duck Network. A terrible move.

300% Welcome Bonus

New players are welcomed to Game Village Bingo with a 300% bonus on a 10 first deposit. There's also the opportunity to get bonus spins on the first three deposits. Wagering terms apply and are x4 for bingo and x40 for slots. These offers are the same for pretty much all Cozy Games/ElectraWorks brands regardless of the network that they're on.

Before moving to Cozy, Game Village Bingo used to offer new players a massive no deposit bonus. Sadly this is no longer available and, surprisingly, it's one of the few Cozy Games sites that doesn't offer a free bingo trial. This never was an issue as Game Village instead offered exclusive promotions and rooms, including the old Chip Van that was popular in it's original incarnation.

Bingo Rooms

However, since GVC acquired the Cozy platform, Game Village Bingo is now the same as Gone, Harrys and the multiple other brands on this network. Any remnants of the original site has gone. On the plus side players do have access to 75, 90 and 80 ball bingo, progressive jackpots. Tickets cost from a penny upwards. There's also an increasingly improving array of slots.

Promotions wise Game Village used to give plenty for players to look through. There were deposit specials, weekly specials, monthly specials and just specials. Nowadays the promotions are just those dictated by the network. This means things like Pudding Race where you have to "guess the weight of the pudding in the Village Fair room to win up to 50 in bonus!" have now sadly gone.

Our Verdict

On a positive note the site does offer good access to a handful of bingo rooms and plenty of slots. The network promotions are decent too with a pay day jackpot and regular bonuses amongst the highlights. No deposit fans will be better off opting for a Cozy site that offers access to the free bingo trial.

To be honest we much preferred Game Village when it was on it's own software and was more of a community games site with the likes of Supergems and Dingo. The Cozy Games offering is good but the community aspect - or village life - seems to have diminished. The forum and blog for example have gone and social activity on Facebook is fading. There's no chance it'll ever be "the next Jackpotjoy".
