Iconic Bingo Review
Iconic Bingo launched in January 2017 on the Dragonfish Network. The "iconic" in the brand's title seems to refer to iconic London landmarks such as The Millennium Wheel, Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The Gherkin. However Iconic does claim that it's aim is to "set the benchmark for upcoming online bingo sites". So does this site offer players an iconic bingo experience? Read our review below to find out more.
Iconic Bingo is a very colourful looking site. The iconic landmarks mentioned above form a backdrop whilst hot air balloons float by. A bunch of Union Jack balloons and a colourful array of gambling imagery complete the main part of the homepage. Winner tickets, latest bingo games and highlighted slots complete an informative but quite busy starting point.
New players to Iconic Bingo are offered a 400% bingo bonus plus 25 spins on first deposit. A second and third deposit bonus is also offered. These reloads can be taken as either a bingo bonus or slots bonus. Wagering terms apply and these are set at x4 (deposit + bonus) for bingo and x80 (deposit + bonus) for slots. These are quite hefty in our opinion.
There are a number of network bingo rooms to access once you enter the lobby of Iconic Bingo. These include Bounce'T, High 5, Roller Coaster, Sunny 90s and 90s Extreme. The Daily Doozey room is a free bingo room and this is accessible to new players for a few days after registration. No deposit is required. To play further free games - for example in the Freemium room - players need to deposit regularly.
Iconic Bingo rely on the Dragonfish Network for all their promotions. This means that there are regular jackpots, special games and the occasional slots tournament. Popular promotions include the Mystery Jackpot Room, The 2 Million Loyalty Points Race, Wow where you can win slot spins and The Big £10K. The latter is an invitation only free game that plays on the 10th iof every month. £5000 of the pot is shared by losing players so everyone's a winner.
Slots and casino games make up an important part of many bingo brands. The same is for Iconic! Popular slots include Starburst, Subtopia, Guns N Roses, Rainbow Riches and Irish Luck. Top slots from Eyecon Games and Net Entertainment can also be found in the lobby. The slots could be better organised but this is due to the nature of the Dragonfish lobby as opposed to a decision by Iconic.
If you're going to take a brand like "iconic" then claim that you want to set the "benchmark for upcoming online bingo sites" then you need to be good. Iconic may be able to talk the talk, but they're not even crawling let alone walking the walk. The brand's social media pages are all but non-existent.
Thankfully the Dragonfish platform is iconic and a good place to play bingo and slots. However, our advice is choose a more established brand like Wink, 888 Ladies or Costa. They offer the same bingo rooms and slots as Iconic but they're active, up to date, and more established.
