Sailor Bingo Review
Ahoy there! Sailor Bingo originally launched on the Cozy Games platform in September 2016. It happily sailed the seas of free bingo and slots for a few years until a tidal wave of change hit the platform. Sailor alongside a whole host of other brands ended up in Davy Jones' locker - sunk without trace from the online bingo world. However whilst many brands stayed sunk, Sailor took the plunge to re surface on the Dragonfish real money network.
Despite the chance of platform, Sailor Bingo continue to make their very bold claim that it's the "UK's number one new bingo site". It's probably the number one bingo brand with a nautical theme. On a very positive note the new look site looks great. A smiling anchor (look closely) and seascape give the brand a fresh look. Most certainly no wagering Real Money sites are looking a lot more attractive these days. However, we still think there's room for improvement inside the lobby.
New recruits to Sailor Bingo are offered access to a newbies room where they'll be able to enjoy free bingo for 3 days. Go on and make a deposit to receive £50 of free bingo tickets. These tickets are split with £20 for Kaching and £30 for The Big Bang game. Additionally new depositors also receive 30 Free Spins on Fluffy Favourites. Note that there is a win cap of £1 and wins are set at minimum of £0.
The site is easy to use and is compatible with mobile, tablet and PC. There's a good mix of bingo rooms including free rooms and jackpots. All the rooms are networked so you may already be familiar with the likes of Blighty 90, £10K Sunday Blast, £250 Saucy Sunday, £1K Thursday Groove and Freee4U. Ticket prices range from 5p upwards and there's a whole host of payment facilities including Paypal.
Promotions on Sailor Bingo are currently limited to anything offered by the network. This includes The Big £10K that plays on the 10th of every month across all Dragonfish brands. It's a no lose bingo game for players that have deposited/wagered throughout the month. At time of writing there are no exclusive offers at Sailor Bingo. In addition this brand doesn't have any social media pages or community.
As with all other wager free brands on the Real Money Network, Sailor does have a rewards programme. Regular depositors and players can earn daily free spins and bingo tickets. The higher up the VIP scale you go then the better the rewards available. All spins and bingo tickets come with no wagering terms, but other terms will apply.
When we updated our review of Sailor in March 2019 we wrote the following "with the arrival of Cheeky Bingo and Foxy Bingo onto this platform and the knowledge of closures forthcoming, we wonder what the future holds for Sailor. We're not sure it's one of the biggest brands on the network. We get the feeling that this particular sailor will need to be looking for alternatives very soon".
Well for once one of our predictions has come true. We're impressed that Sailor has opted to relaunch on another platform, especially when so many other Cozy brands have closed. Most certainly the offering is better and the no wagering element attractive. However, Sailor like Bounce, Blast Off, Bingo Idol and many others on this platform seem content to float along with causing a storm. It's high time these no wagering brands started to develop their own promotions.
