How To Play Paint By Numbers
Paint By Numbers is a multistake 45 ball bingo game which means you choose to purchase one ticket at a number of prices. These range from 10p up to a maximum of £2 but all players take part in the same game. The prizes on offer vary depending on your wager (10p, 25p, 50p, £1 and £2). Whilst you wait for the game to start Tombola have provided a just for fun painting area so you can unleash your inner Bob Ross. Once inside the Paint By Numbers game you'll discover a bingo card that comprises a typical paint by numbers picture. All the segments are numbered and this therefore represents your bingo card of 15 different numbers. The pictures vary from game to game. Calls take place the same as any other bingo game with paint colours with numbers appearing at the foot of the screen. If these match segments on your card then these areas get coloured in.
Full House Prize
Unlike it's seasonal predecessors, Paint By Numbers only offers players the chance to win a full house prize during the base game. In Bloom and Winter Spotlight there were chances to win a "one line" prize. The first player to colour in their full ticket will win the Full House prize. Because there aren't two prizes for each game this does mean that the full house prize is a little bit higher. In addition to the full house each game of Paint By Numbers gives players the chance to win a fixed jackpot. Call full house in 28 calls or less to win up to £1000. The amount of the jackpot depends on the amount of your intial wager. For example if your ticket costs 10p then the jackpot is £50. However spend the maximum £2 and you can potentially win £1000.
Our Verdict
Paint By Numbers is yet another clever - yet simple idea - for a bingo game from Tombola. It makes so much sense yet as we said at the start of the review - "why has no one thought of this before"? The downside of PBN is that the rooms are incredibly busy so it's tough to win. We would love to see Tombola to adopt Mecca's BOB route and offer more rooms whilst also limiting the numbers of player per room. Another option we'd love to see is a way for players to save their artwork to a Tombola gallery. There's got to be a few talented players who can actually create something better than our incredibly bad efforts and it'd be fun to see them? Perhaps Tombola could even offer a prize?
