Tickety Bingo Says Tickety Bye To Players

When Broadway Gaming concluded their takeover of Dragonfish we speculated that this would result in the demise of many brands on the platform. To be fair we've been surprised that there hasn't been a huge cull but we have seen a few sites shut their doors. These include Bingo All Stars, Besties Bingo, Sundae Bingo and Dabbers Bingo. The latter three brands were all part of the Tau Gaming set-up and we're sad to report they're going to soon be joined by another. Tickety Bingo has announced that they'll be closing down on the 2nd August 2023. Players are being urged to withdraw any funds that they have and move their accounts to Tickety's sister site over at Bonnie Bingo.

We first learnt of Tickety's demise via an email that simply reads "Tickety Bingo will close its virtual doors on August 2nd, 2023. However we're not saying goodbye just yet! Our friends at Bonnie Bingo have prepared an increased welcome offer for you featuring a triple bonus 100 Free Bingo Tickets, £10 Games Bonus + 50 Free Spins (terms apply)". Over at the Tickety website though there's a little more info although only in the shape of "You can still log in until the given date to use and/or withdraw any remaining funds". There aren't any details with respect to what you should do after the closure date with respect to funds that you may have left. We suspect that they'll be an email address to contact. Closing a site down at this time of year isn't ideal as players may be away on holiday so in our view the notice period should be longer than just two weeks. On the plus side we suspect that the offer to join Bonnie Bingo will run on until such a time that the Tickety Bingo site is closed down completely and redirected.
About Tickety Bingo
Tickety Bingo launched at the end of 2019 and became a sister brand to the likes of Cracker, Bounce and Quality Bingo. Although part of the Tau Gaming Group it made a change from their recent group additions in that Tickety was on the standard Dragonfish Network and not on the real money, no wagering terms set-up. The problem with Tickety and indeed pretty much every bingo site that currently resides on the old Dragonfish/new Broadway Gaming platform is that it offers nothing extra to players. The bingo product isn't great, the slots can be found everywhere else, and there are just no promotions of any kind that are noteworthy. Whilst Tombola are inventing new games, Buzz are pushing ahead with Live Bingo, Entain are offering big jackpots and Mecca continue to run big promos, Broadway Gaming offer nothing. So far the only winners from the purchase of the Dragonfish set-up seem to be 888 who off loaded the thing. Mind you Tickety's demise isn't all down to the platform. If you launch a bingo site and do nothing with it eventually it closes down because it has no players or has become unprofitable.
A Bonnie Bingo Offer
Obviously it's in the interest of Tau Gaming to try and cajole any Tickety Bingo players over to another of their brands and the Bonnie Bingo deal is better than that on the website by a few spins and bingo tickets. However it might not be that great! Firstly Bonnie Bingo is identical to Tickety in every single way other than name. So if unless you've been regularly playing at Tickety then moving to Bonnie makes sense. If you've not because for example you find the games poor then it makes no sense at all. But there's a more important reason as to why this offer may not be good. Broadway Gaming have recently clamped down on the number of accounts that players can have on their brands. If you're a depositing player on another brand you may find that you can't open another account. Therefore you may find you can't take advantage of the welcome offer. Overall though we do think if your game is bingo you'd be better off on another platform anyway. The Dragonfish/Broadway Gaming bingo platform needs to be better and it's hardly improved since we closed Prize Bingo and Loquax Bingo. In fact there are less bingo rooms, fewer jackpots, less free games and no exciting promotions. It's no wonder sites like Tickety end up closing and we expect more to follow suit.
