What Are Kingdom's Rise Slots?
Not content with dominating the slot rosters with their Greek Mythology series, Age Of The Gods, in October 2019 Playtech decided to take a little bit of inspiration from Game Of Thrones and launch Kingdom's Rise. This imaginary fantasy world consists of different lands that can be explored using an in-game map. The slot titles are all linked which means players can collect tokens during game play on one title to then go and use them on another. Furthermore there are also progressive jackpots to be won.
The Kingdom's Rise series initially launched with three titles: Guardians of the Abyss, Sands of Fury and Forbidden Forest. However these have since been joined by Scorching Clouds, Captain's Treasure and Reign Of Ice. We suspect that there will be further additions going forward. The beauty about these slots is that they're all different in terms of gameplay. Scorching Clouds for example is a 5x5 slot with multiple paylines whilst Guardians of the Abyss is a 25 line slot. The table below summarises the different games, paylines and the return to player (RTP).
|Guardians of the Abyss||25||Guardian's Bonus||96.09%|
|Sands of Fury||20||Wild Fury||96.23%|
|Forbidden Forest||576||The Night Owl||95.99%|
|Reign Of Ice||25||Hammer Respins||96.07%|
|Captain's Treasure||50||Treasure Respins||96.05%|
|Scorching Clouds||Multiple||Spreading Wilds||96.93%|
|Legend Of Elvenstone||10||Dragon Bonus||96.84%|
The Kingdoms Rise Shop
When you spin any of the Kingdom's Rise slots you may accumulate gold coins. Collect enough and you can spend them in the Features Shop. You'll need at least 300 coins to purchase a bonus round on one of the titles. The features include Wild Vortex on Guardians Of The Abyss or The Queen's Ritual Bonus on Sand's Of Fury. You can choose to hold on to your coins and purchase more expensive turns on these games. The higher the price the more features are added. For example at 300 coins you get 1 wild on Wild Vortex but for 750 coins you get 2 wilds on the reels. Gold coins accumulate across all slots and are valid for up to 6 months.
Although Playtech have added three further titles to their Kingdom's Rise roster they don't seem to have added to the features that can be purchased in the shop. We do wonder whether this is because The UKGC are looking at whether this kind of "purchase a bonus" option is going to be allowed in the future? One other thing we have noticed is that the map doesn't seem to always reflect the new games. For example Buzz Bingo only show the original three games on their map.
Which Is The Best Kingdom's Rise Slot
Deciding which is the best slot in the Kingdom's Rise series comes down to personal taste. Our ratings above reflect our own views. We enjoyed playing Sands Of Fury much more than Forbidden Forest for example. We found that the former paid produced more wins! The good thing about this group of slots is that you can play from as little as 10p a spin. This means that you can try the games without spending too much.
All games give you the chance to win of three progressive jackpots as you play. The Epic Jackpot is a progressive pot that stars at £100K and has no upper limit. The Power Jackpot must be won before it reaches £2000 whilst the Daily Strike Jackpot must be won each day before midnight. At time of writing (June 2020) the Epic Jackpot was just over £240,000. If you're looking to play these slots then head to Playech powered casino brands such as Paddy Power Games and William Hill Casino or try Virtue Fusion bingo sites like Buzz and Gala.
