Wild West High Roller Slot Review
If you like your slots to be a bit loud then this Wild West Hi-Roller game at sites like Grosvenor Casino will be right up your street. This is an unusual slot in that you play four reels, each with 10 pay lines, at the same time. In addition there are locked wilds plus the opportunity to play for big money in a high roller version.
As you'd expect from a slot called Wild West there's a western theme going on with this game from Novomatic. The reel icons include cowboys, guns and outlaws. There are sheriff badges on the play screen and if you stop wagering for a short time there's even some tumbleweed. Sounds wise there's a very 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly' inspired soundtrack - this is accompanied with various other western sounds like horses and bells.
High Roller Options
If you feel flush then the game offers two High Roller options. Silver gives you three spins and locked wilds along with a 96% payout in exchange for x5 your stake. The Gold option is x10 your stake but has 50% more locked wilds and a 97% payout. Essentially it means you can play for an incredible £160 per spin!
The multiple reel format can be a bit overwhelming. There's a lot going on! At the same time you do feel like you're getting extra value for money - i.e. 4 x spins for the price of 1 in the standard game. However multiple reels come at cost and that cost is a lack of additional features. Other than wilds the only extra is the gunshot multiplier bonus which will increase a win by the shown amount.
The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Wild West High Roller slots can be played on desktop and mobile. We enjoyed the theme and the imagery is first class. It does feel a little bit loud and in your face with the soundtrack, but then you can always turn it off. All this game really needs is Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Cleef to turn up for a gun showdown.
If you enjoy Wild West themed games then you may also like to to try the more modern Gun Slinger Fully Loaded slot from Blueprint Gaming.
