The Matrix Slot Review
The Matrix debuted on the movie screens in 1999 and is rated as one of the best films of all time. Neo, played by Keanu Reeves, believes there's something wrong with his world and in time is offered a way out of this 'reality' by Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). Together with the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar they take on the machines and Agent Smith as they fight inside the Matrix. Unsurprisingly this movie epic has made it's way into the world of slots.
Wagering On The Matrix Slot
The Matrix slots is a 5 reel 50 payline game from Playtech. The main icons are characters and images from the film including Morpheus, Agent Smith and Trinity. Neo is in there too but plays a lesser role as the game's wild symbol. Matrix symbols, telephones and Neo's sunglasses make up the rest of the icons. Bonus Features
Another feature to look out for is the deja-vu bonus. This activates when the cat wild appears on reel 5. The wilds are then duplicated on reel 1 before all the symbols on show will shuffle to hopefully generate win lines. The game is an excellent representation of the movie and the clips from the original film enhance play. Too many film/slot crossovers are badly done or bear little relevance to the title, but that's most certainly not the case here. The bonus rounds are good and the graphics excellent throughout.
