With so many casino brands making changes to their welcome and bonus offers recently it's safe to say that it's been quite a turbulant time for online gambling. Now that the dust is (hopefully) starting to settle we're now seeing some brands making adjustments and alterations. Two of these brands are Virgin Games and Bgo.com.
Limited Time Bonus & Free Spins
Virgin Games look like they have adjusted their welcome offer for new players. For a limited time period they are offering a bonus worth £30 plus 30 free spins when you deposit and wager just £10. The Bonus is subject to a x1 wagering requirement which means that you must wager 1 times the value of the Bonus before you can make a cash withdrawal. Wins from the free spins have no wagering terms.
This kind of offer makes us think that there's been a drop in players signing up at Virgin Games in recent months. Both Heart and Jackpotjoy were quick to add free bingo to their new welcome offers, but Virgin Games were left with just spend £10 for free spins.
To be fair this is pretty good value welcome offer. The wagering term of x1 for the bonus is excellent. However, it does feel like a little step back from Virgin Games being a no wagering term site. It'll be interesting to see other offers from Virgin Games in the coming months. This offer runs at Virgin Games until the 10th June 2018.
10 Free Spins
Bgo.com jumped into the no wagering casino arena with both feet during 2017. The good news is that they've decided to stay firmly rooted there. However, they have made adjustments to their welcome offer. The original offer was up to 50 fair spins when you make a deposit. However, the new offer includes no deposit spins too.
New players at Bgo.com can claim 10 free spins without making a deposit. Any wins are paid as cash and no wagering terms apply. In addition, new depositing players now get 100 free spins with a minimum deposit of £10. Again, wins from these spins have no wagering terms attached.
This change brings Bgo.com back in to competition with many other operators who are already offering no deposit free spins (e.g. William Hill Casino). We do wonder whether the change is due to a decline in new players since the introduction of "fair spins". With a number of brands going "no wagering" the no deposit spins give Bgo.com a greater attraction over other rivals.
We expect that there will be plenty more adjustments to welcome offers at bingo and casino brands during the rest of 2018.
