Its' been over a year since the Devon Estate worth £1million became the first win a house competition to ever successfully reach completion. Our "win a house watch" has continued to monitor the new and current competitions! The list below shows the ticket price and number of tickets sold.
Increase in ticket sales are shown since the last check on 6th January 2010. Closed Competitions!
Launching 2nd November Michelle and Paul Wood hope to giveaway their home in a free to enter competition. Click on advertisers and answer questions to enter. The prize is a £425,000 property in West Yorkshire. Site looks awful! (updated 15th June).
Answer 8 multiple choice questions and enter the competition to win a semi-detached house in rural Cheshire (nr Warrington). House is valued around £189,000. Site still live, but no updates. (updated 15th June).
Entry format has now changed to a multiple choice question and maths problem. You can win a house (value of £200,000) from the selection on offer or take a cash settlement of £175,000. Our stats suggest 10 tickets sold in 6 months! (updated 15th June).
Should You Enter? We've put these competitions on Loquax to show the current array of win a house competitions, what's on offer and ticket sales. Few are close to selling their ticket quotas and that is a useful guide to whether you should enter at the moment. If a site doesn't show many (or any) ticket sales then we think they should be avoided, at least until sales start to pick up.
Please note we are not paid to list these competitions and information is provided for reference only.
