One of the biggest annual on-pack prize promotions has returned for it’s fifth year. Cadbury’s Match & Win is back and that means there are plenty of chances to win exciting prizes such as a VIP matchday for two. There are also a further 500 pairs of match tickets to be won, as well as additional prizes including club shop vouchers. All you need is a barcode or batchcode from promotional bars!
How To Enter
To enter the Cadbury Match & Win competition you simply need to enter your barcode or batchcode into the form via the website. Make sure you keep your receipt from any purchases – just in case you’re a winner! This is a tad annoying for anyone wanting to womble for codes. There’s a whole list of qualifying products that can be used for this promo including Wispa, Fruit & Nut, Caramel Nibbles, Picnic Bites etc. The full product list can be found in the terms. Once you’ve entered your code you’ll be assigned a randomised score prediction (up to 4-4) for an upcoming game within the following game week.
How To Win & The Prizes
If your randomised score prediction matches the actual game played within the game week then you’re in with the chance of winning a prize. All correct predictions go into a prize draw and can win one of the many prizes on offer. Prizes include VIP tickets during the 21/22 football season for any of Cadbury’s partner clubs except Aston Villa Women’s FC, subject availability. Each pair of tickets comes with one Sky TV package, free for a year. Each Experience will be tailored to the winner’s preference as much as reasonably possible. There are also matchday tickets vouchers for selected club shops available to be won throughout the promotion.
Game Weeks
The Cadbury Match & Win promotion runs from 23rd August through to 18th November and there are 10 designated Game Weeks. Two weeks are not in play due to Internationals. Cadbury allow a maximum of two entries per person/email address per day. Purchase is necessary for residents of The UK, but people in Northern Ireland can claim one entry each game week by using a postal entry option. All the details including where to send your postcard are given in the terms. A final catch-all draw with a £500 prize runs from 19th November 2021 to 29th April 2022.
Our Verdict
This could be quite a tough competition to win because you’re relying on getting a good prediction once you’ve made your entry. We suggest just make as many entries as you can each week to give yourself the best chance to win something. Whilst we’d expect all the big Level 1 prizes to be won throughout the promotion we do wonder how many of the 500 x match day tickets (Level 2) and 7,199,490 vouchers (Level 3) will be dished out. Given the latter will be worth £50 million we’d be pretty surprised to see that many amount of winnings paid out as part of this promo. What isn’t known is how many games Cadbury choose each week and how many predictions are dished out for each game. Hopefully Cadbury will reveal a results page showing the weekly results and the winners of the prizes.
