Firebox Launch 3rd Film Festival Competition

Firebox, the top online gadget shop, have launched their 3rd annual film festival competition. It's your chance to show off your movie making skills and have the chance to win £1000 of Adobe software or £500 of Firebox vouchers. You have until April 22nd 2007 to make your movie and then it's over to the public vote to determine a winner. Firebox will also pick their favourite. To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is submit a film featuring a Firebox product that is less than 5 minutes in length and less than 20MB in size!

New Creative Competitions Category

Access to video, either through your phone or camcorder, has seen a steady increase in the number of competitions requiring users to upload images or video to enter. We've even created a new type of competition category on Loquax, Photo & Video Competitions, to accommodate them. As effort is involved we don't expect the number of entries to be that high, most certainly nowhere near the numbers seen for prize draws, so if you're feeling creative why not give it a go. If you need some inspiration then see previous entries - The 2005 film festival is Star Wars related as the theme for that year was the Darth Tater Mr Potato Head.
