Heart Radio’s popular Make Me A Millionaire promotion is back and that means that one lucky listener is guaranteed to have their life changed. At the start of May someone will follow in the footsteps of 2024 winner, Samantha Hayes, and win one million pound guaranteed. To get involved with the promotion you need to listen to Heart Radio and text in with the correct answer to the ‘Millionaire Pound Question’. Each day a winner will be selected and they’ll instantly win that day’s cash prize. But there’s a twist. The winner can opt to forgo the cash and instead wait until the start of May to see if they can win a million. What would you choose to do?
How Do I Become A Millionaire?
The competition runs from the 10th February 2025 through to the end of April. Each day there will be a question posed by a presenter. This question requires an answer to be sent in either via text or online in order to enter that day’s draw. One lucky winner is chosen at random from that day’s entries and they win whatever cash prize is being offered. However the winner has the option to turn down the cash by shouting “HEART MAKE ME A MILLIONAIRE“. They’ll then head to a final showdownthat takes place at Heart Radio HQ in London on the 2nd May 2025, alongside other players who have turned down the cash. The finalists will also be joined by a winner from what’s called Stage 2 of the promotion. Stage 1 is the daily cash prize draw and that runs until the 25th April. Then until the end of the month it’s Stage 2 where the prize is a fast track entry into the final. In other words whoever wins doesn’t get the chance to walk off with a cash prize. Finalists will be invited to London – travel and accommodation is provided – but if you’re unable to go then that may lose you your place. The whole thing concludes with someone winning a million quid!!
How To Enter Make Me A Millionaire
To enter Make Me A Millionaire you first need to listen for the Million Pound Question as read out by the presenter on air. When you hear the question you then need to text in your entry to be in the next round of play. Make sure you’re not listening on catch-up, restart or delay because you’ll still pay for your entry but it might not be included in the draw. To enter Heart’s Make Me a Millionaire you need to text the word WIN followed by your answer (A or B) to 82122. Texts cost £2 plus your standard network rate. If you are listening to Heart Scotland you need to text the word MILLION followed by your answer (A or B) to 82122. Texts cost £2 plus your standard network rate. Occasionally Heart may provide a different word to WIN or MILLION. This word will offer you the chance to purchase 5 entries for £5 plus one standard network rate. Note that some mobile providers, for example Smarty, don’t allow you to do shortform text numbers. However you can still enter by using the online option.
Win+ Online Entries
To enter Make Me A Millionaire Online you need to visit Win+. This is like Global’s version of ITV Win or Win Happy from Bauer. On Win+ you’ll find a number of different pay to enter prize draws including Make Me A Millionaire. To enter you’ll need to login either with your mobile number or Global ID. On Make Me A Millionaire you’ll then be asked a multiple choice question – select A or B as your answer. Note you’re not told if the answer is incorrect but the questions are usually easy. After making your answer selection you are then offered options to purchase between 1 and 75 entries. One entry will cost £2 whilst 75 entries will cost £30. However remember that this is a daily promotion and if you play £30 a day for the entirety of the competition then that comes out to around £2400. Even if you play just £2 a day that’s £160! It’s something to consider whilst chasing the prizes on offer. There sadly isn’t a free entry option for this draw – either online or postal – but entrants may win free entries as these are on offer as runners-up prizes. Full terms and conditions, as well frequently asked questions, can be found over at Heart Radio.
How Does The Final Work?
If you’ve not seen how the final works then PromoVeritas have kindly put up a case study explaining the whole process. This is actually from 2021 when Shelley Humphries was the eventual winner but having watched the 2024 winner video there’s nothing to suggest that the process is any different. The only thing that isn’t the same is the number of finalists! A lottery machine reduces the number of finalists down to just 9 and they are joined by the fast-tracked finalist. The final ten are then invited to open a numbered safety deposit box but only one of them is going to find the million. All this is overseen by PromoVeritas who make sure all players have a fair chance of winning. The only thing missing from the PromoVeritas study is an indicator of the number of people who participated in the competition on a daily basis. This number would be useful to work out the odds of actually winning the cash. The odds are basically 1/number of daily entries x 9/number of finalists x 1/10. The odds of winning The National Lottery are 45,057,474 to 1. Assuming you only enter once and on a day when there’s just 50,000 daily entries (and if our maths is correct) the odds of winning overall will be 1 in 1,666,668. If the number of daily entries was 10,000 then the odds change to something around 1 in 300,000. This also assumes that 30 people are in the final. We did then try to factor in what happens if you enter on more than one day and ended up lost in a sea of numbers. Whatever the odds, it’s going to a tough gig to win!
Better Odds To Win A Million
But what if there was a cheaper way to try and win a million and with potentially better odds? Pay to enter prize draw sites are often viewed with disdain in some comping circles but are they worth checking out? For example, That Prize Guy are currently running their 9th million pound competition and tickets cost up to £1.99. The odds of winning this particular draw – should all tickets sell out – is 1/850,000. A Millionaire Maker competition that Elite Competitions are running offers a cash alternative of £750,000 or a prize bundle worth over a million. Tickets for that cost 29p and there’s up to 10,000,000 tickets available. At time of writing and with just two days left to go the promotion is only 50% sold. It’s also worth noting you can do a “free entry” with these sites via post. If you’re looking for smaller prizes then Elite are also running a competition that offers £5000 a month for a year. Tickets for this one cost just 2p each. The total entry number for this is one a hefty 7million though, but £2 entry gets you 100 entries (and with our discount code ‘loquax’ you get 10% off). Choosing to play on a “raffle site” might be a tough decision and we fully understand why, especially if your comping focus is free prize draws. But if you’re happily spending money regularly on things like Make Me A Millionaire then you might want to start looking at whether you’re getting the best value and odds for your money.
