Automated Competition entries were a bugbear of ours in the very earlier days of the blog. Online entry forms would be flooded with thousands of entries from these services who were happily taking money off subscribers. We worked hard to highlight the issue and provided promoters with plenty of details about how they could prevent their prize draws being flooded with entries from people who didn’t even know about their site.
