Loquax Sponsors National Dodgeball Championship

March 12th, 2009

On March 15th The National Dodgeball Championship is taking place at the Bletchley Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes and Loquax are pleased to announce that they are sponsoring the event. It’s free entry, so if you’re in the area why not pop along and catch the games and find out who will be crowned The UK’s Dodgeball Champions. It’s a step into a whole new world for us, but as New City Dodgeball’s aim is to get kids to “duck-into-dodgeball” we couldn’t resist adding our duck to the event!

Twelve teams will be battling it out for the title: Balls of Steel, Jammy Dodgers (Central Champions), Leeds Met Carnegie I (University Champions), Leeds Met Carnegie II, Leicester City Ligers, New City Outlaws (South Champions), NCDL Marshalls, Northampton Cobras, Southampton Uni Pirates, Warwick Uni Warriors I, Warwick Uni Warriors II (North Champions) & Vipers.

You can find out more about Dodgeball at the official UK home UKDBA

Of course we’re hoping that the even does get some media attention, but if not we’re pleased to have had the chance to sponsor a national event. Our philosophy with Loquax has always been about having fun and this sponsorship continues that theme.

Now remember the five rules of Dodgeball…”dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge” (Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story).
