About Pristine Competitions

Like many of these kind of sites, Pristine Competitions are located in Northern Ireland. Launched in 2019 the company is run by Cathal McGinty and Niall Mclaughlin. Since starting they say that they've created over 7000 winners and over £45million in prizes which is pretty impressive. The Pristine Competitions website comes across as quite busy with huge graphics dominating the landscape. On the flipside it's nice to find a site that's got plenty of prize draws running as opposed to just one or two. In case you're wondering Pristine use the Zap Competitions platform which is also used by sites such as Raffleaid, Celtic FC, Carp Gear Giveaways, Click Competitions, RaffledUp as well as many others.

How To Enter Pristine Competitions Pristine Competitions

It's easy to enter the various prize draws on Pristine. All you have to do is select the option that interests you, answer a multiple choice question and pay the entry fee. The mutliple choice questions aren't exactly taxing and are along the lines of "what day ends the weekend" and "what letter Starts the alphabet". Pristine also seem to be limited in terms of the questions they ask because multiple giveaways have the same question. Each prize draw has a limited number of tickets available for sale and a fixed closing date. On each prize draw there's also information about how to send in a free entry via post. As mentioned above, Pristine do also run free entry competitions and at time of writing had just concluded one for a £200 Sainsbury's voucher. Entry for that one though was only via their apps.

What Can You Win?

There are a couple of prize categories to check out at Pristine including cars and machinary, cash, tech and luxury. Amongst the cars on offer (April 2023) are a 2020 VW Transporter Camper, 2021 Audi RS6 and 2018 VW Amarok. You also have the chance to win one of three vehicles in an instant win prize draw. Instant Wins are the latest addition to pay per enter sites and they add extra spice to proceedings. With instant wins you simply purchase tickets as usual but as well as purchasing a ticket for a main prize there's also a chance to win instantly. The top prize for the Instant Win is £10,000 but there are other cash giveaways. These include daily cash prizes like Quickfire £1000 for £20 a ticket or the chance to win £2000 for 49p for a ticket.

Pristine Competitions Winners

Pristine have over 125 pages of winners. When a giveaway concludes the winners are drawn via live draws that are streamed on social media. On the winners page you'll find the prize won, the winner's name, ticket numbers and a link to the live draw. Pristine also link to entry prize draw lists although these are linked on a separate page. Why the winners and entry lists can't be combined we don't know? We guess that may just be a quirk of the platform? Pristine also has a section called Draw Results so you can quickly review who's won and on what day. Overall there's a whole bunch of transparency here and you can't argue with the amount of detail and information. Scrolling through the winners list it's also good to see that the winner locations vary across The UK and aren't just limited to Northern Ireland.

Our Verdict

There's plenty to like at Pristine. One thing that really stands out is the cost of entry. If you're used to seeing expensive pay to enter prize draws then you'll be pleasently surprised here. Typically entries will cost £1.99 but there are much cheaper options including 15p to win £5000! On top of that there are free to enter draws - although to be fair we're noticing a lot of these kind of sites doing this now as they discover that they're good options for attracting new visitors. Free entries can also be won by interacting with social media posts. In terms of responsible play there isn't anything of note plus we noted you could purchase 500 x £9.99 tickets (if you so wished) which isn't great. Trustpilot reviews are mostly positive, but these should be taken with a pinch of salt. Some of the bad reviews do complain about things like not winning and multiple text messages although Pristine do make efforts to reply.
