Raffleade are a pay to enter prize draw site located in Cannock. Launched in 2020 they aim to change lives with dream luxury prizes and charitable donations. At time of writing (March 2024) they were offering mainly cash prizes with tickets at costs varying from cheap (25p) to expensive (£9). They occasionally run free entry draws too although these seem to be only available to entrants who have previously purchased a ticket.

Our Rating |
|
From what we can understand, Raffleade actually started life as Raffleaid (
ASA) although the site is managed under Clarson Limited. Unusually for this sector the site is run by a mother and daughter team, Tracee and Tyne-Lexy. We've known about Raffleade for a while because Loquax users have regularly listed their free prize draws. However this review stems because one user was refused their prize from such a prize draw because they weren't a paying customer - despite this not being evident in the terms. Clarson Ltd have been flagged by ASA on a couple of occasions with respect to how they run their draws so we'd not be surprised to see them on the rulings lists again. If the free prize draws are for paying customers only then make it clear!! Otherwise pay out the prize!
Raffleade Prizes
Cash is king when it comes to the prizes that are on offer at Raffleade. At time of updating this review (June 2025) there were 10 different cash prize draws. The amounts you can win are up to £7000 although the prize pots are much higher. Raffleade look like they love instant wins with every current draw offering the mechanic. The site does have a 'Tech' prize section but that's empty and looking at recent winners they've just dished out cash prizes for some time now. Ticket prices range from 13p up to £3.99. Ticket sales don't look too impressive as we can see that competitions that are due to close in the next few days sitting at well under 10% sold. The 13p prize draw however has sold over 30% so perhaps that's an indicator that entrants prefer cheaper tickets?
How To Enter Raffleade Competitions
Each prize draw has a limited number of tickets available and a designated closing date. According to their FAQ, competitions are not extended and all prizes go ahead regardless of tickets sold. If tickets sell out really quickly then the prize draw gets closed and drawn earlier than advertised. Entering prize draws at Raffleade is very easy. You simply select the number of tickets you wish to buy for a particular draw, answer a very easy multiple choice question and purchase them. You do need to be registered and logged in to the site to participate. Each prize draw has a limited number of tickets that can be purchased. It's not clear whether thare are limits to the number of entries per person per draw, but there are discounts should you purchase tickets in bulk. A no purchase entry route is available for all prize draws and these are outlined in the terms and conditions. Given the price of tickets versus stamps then it's only really a useful option for the more expensive draws.
Are There Raffleade Winners?
Prize draw winners are "selected using Google random number generator" and this is all done live via Raffelade's Facebook feed. When the winning number is selected the winner is then shown being highlighted so there's full transparency. Live Draws take place every Monday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday. A full list of winners can be found on social media and on their webpage. The draw results content provides the name of who won and the winning ticket number. There are no links to the prize draw videos though or the entry lists. Furthermore no details are given regarding number of ticket sales for the completed draws (although no one seems to be happy to offer this kind of detail).
Responsible Play & Other Reviews
The Raffleade website indicates that "you must be 18 or over to enter" but there are no responsible play messages that we can see. Whilst this isn't a requirement it's presence does demonstrate concern towards entrants who are spending money with the platform. As far as we know Zap, who power the platform, have implemented or are implementing deposit limits and other responsible play features. In terms of reviews, Raffleade boasts an impressive 98% in terms of 5*s. The negative comments don't reveal that much although one reviewer has flagged that their no purchase necessary postal entry was returned. Most 1* reviews stem before ASA's intervention.
Our Verdict
A couple of ASA rulings and not paying out a free prize draw prize is not a good look for any pay to enter prize draw site where transparency and honesty is key. But to be fair most of these issues stem from a lack of awareness of CAP and ASA rules with respect to running prize draws. Hopefully they'll resolve the free prize draw issues - since writing this review the free draws are via the app possibly as a step to make sure that customers only get involved. There are some cheap entry prize draws here and potentially low odds as player numbers look low. Just check out the end prize value before you spend money and don't be seduced by the big prize pot amounts as these account for instant wins that mostly won't be awarded judging by the sales on current giveaways.
