Storm Competitions like to give their visitors the chance to win high-quality low mileage prestige cars in their online promotions. Ticket prices vary but are typically around £12+. Prizes provided by sister company Storm Motors include a Mercedes, BMW and a 6 Berth Motorhome. In 2023 they've introduced an Instant Win mechanic and the focus seems to be on just one big promo versus multiple prize draws.

Our Rating |

Owned by Storm Motors of Northern Ireland, Storm Competitions launched during 2020. The company say that they source desirable premium cars with low mileage and offer them through competitions. The cars aren't brand new but they are prepped to retail standard and delivered by Storm. At time of writing (June 2025) there are 4 current car competitions all with decent ticket sales. These are joined by several cash draws, instant wins and tech goodies.
What Prizes Can You Win?
There are multiple pages of prizes on offer at Storm Competitions. When we first reviewed the platform ticket prices were very high but prices now range from 1p to £99. The higher the price the less tickets that are available to purchase! Amongst the prizes listed are a 2022 Ford Transit, Fully Restored 1990 BMW E30, Nardo Grey Audi RS3, Rotating Laser Level Kit, Kamado BBQ, iPhone Bundle and a whole host of cash prizes. The cash prizes range from £250 (1p a ticket) to £10000 (£99 a ticket). Prizes can be viewed by category by the site is screaming out for a sorting option so you can review things by ticket price, closing date and number of tickets sold. Scanning through the lists sales seem to be around 25% sold and most prize draws offer a cash alternative to the headlined prize.
How To Enter Storm Competitions
To enter first you need to do is select the prize you would like to win and click on to the competition page. You'll be given details of the closing date, the number of tickets on sale, the number of tickets sold and the competition question. You'll also be given details of the prize on offer. Answer the multiple choice question and choose how many tickets you'd like to purchase. Note that you're not told whether your answer is correct or incorrect. Complete the transaction to purchase your tickets. Each competition has a fixed number of tickets available to be sold. If insufficient tickets are not sold then the competition will be extended. Once enough tickets are sold - even if not all are sold - then the prize becomes guaranteed. Keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.
Storm Competitions Winners
Storm Competitions do offer a free entry postal route. This is explained in the terms and conditions. Note that you need to include your details and the answer to the question for the competition you wish to enter. Postal entries are limited to one per person per competition. There are already a number of winners listed on Storm Competitions. Recent prizes that have been won include a 2020 Volkswagen Transporter, £10,000 cash, 2012 Subaru Impreza, BMW X5 xDrive30d M Sport and a Peugeot Boxer Elddis Autoquest 194. Images of the winners, their names and location are shown on the site whilst the competition links to the live Youtube video. This is a good level of transparency although we'd like to see reference to the past prizes, number of tickets sold etc. A Draws calendar which shows the dates of current and previous competitions is a useful addition.
Responsible Play & Other Reviews
As is sadly quite standard across the pay to enter prize draw sector, there's no reference to responsible play anywhere obvious on Storm Competitions. Whilst it's not necessary for a platform to do this we think competition sites should be reminding players to play responsibly. Interestingly the site does have an Anti Money Laundering Policy which is something we don't often see mentioned. That said there's no visible information about closing accounts, deposit limits etc. Reviews on Trustpilot are mainly good with well over 90% positive. The majority of bad reviews seem to be from users who are complaining that they haven't won. It'd be useful if those kind of reviews could be filtered out because they really add anything useful.
Our Verdict
Overall Storm Competitions looks a well organised service.
Their Facebook page is active and they present their prizes incredibly well. Although the motors are not new they're high quality and plenty of detail is provided. The mileage is also low which is a plus. It's nice to see ticket prices aren't all above £12 as they were when we first reviewed them although £99 for a ticket is a bit high (and none of the 149 tickets have sold - it'll be interesting to see how that fares nearer the closing time). Unlike other platforms who have ventured into big money or property, Storm Competitions seem happy to stick with a tried and tested formula, offering prizes that appeal to their userbase.
